发帖数: 773 | 5 今天第一次prenatal check, 做了sonogram （ab+vag），sono tech说1.16cm,
7weeks5days。其实曾经在3周的时候做过sonogram,当时是因为annual women's health
check被OB推荐做的，当时sono tech说我子宫内膜厚，可能怀孕了，查尿HCG
negative.没想到1周后在家自测发现HCG变positive了。想到在lancet上曾经看到1993
年的一篇报道说多次sonogram明显影响fetal development (growth restriction),今
天拿出来问sono tech，她说是那种测heart beat的sono比较powerful, may affect
fetus, although no solid evidence yet.所以他们这里不用那种方法测heart beat.
回来后我发现宝宝版上的jjmm都是第一次sono就知道baby's heart rate. 我就不知道
。。。心里直打鼓哦！

screening tests which including the nuchal translucency sonogram. Both the
sonogram tech and the specialist told me it is a boy, they said 99%.
Sometimes depends on the baby's position. We did not tell parents yet and
want to wait until the big sonogram in week 20 when more detailed info will
be obtained.

塞黄体酮。
现在例假刚结束，几天前做了Sonogram + blood work, 还没有让吃药. 等下一步再做
了Sonogram + blood work 再等医生决定安排时候开始FET.
我作的是Mini IVF. 取的少。 现在只有两个Frozen Embryo. 希望能成功。要不行的
话，以后还要再取卵。

baby was born 9lbs 4 ounces, the sonogram was pretty accurate in my case. I
started with induction but failed and the doctor decided immediately to give
me C-section.
Looking back, I think it was right to have the C-section. Some women gave
birth to big baby viginally but some failed and baby was harmed. To be saved
, listen to your doctor and don't be so persistent on natural birth. |

he was at 19%, almost 5 pounds. I was ordered weekly sonogram. But last
time I visit (37wk+), he was about 5lb 11oz. both the doctor and the
technician said I can skip the following sonograms. They did not mention
induction at all. The techinician is predciting the baby to be 6-7 pounds at
birth. FYI, I am petite. |

ovarian cyst. 555~~~ I had a D&C 5 weeks ago. Since then I have been having
consistent pelvic pain. Went to my OB twice and did a sonogram. My OB told

I have a ruptured ovarian cyst! Now I am completely pissed off. My OB even

unhappy with what I told her. She questioned the results I just got and
insisited the sonogram she did for me was more reliable. She told me she
didn't see any cyst on her sonogram result. Well, I am not happy either
because I'm having pain.
Now I'm losing my trust on the OB. Every time I call her about some
abnormalities, she said "it's normal". Then I miscarried, I had pain after

有spotting or bleeding的轻微腹痛是正常没问题的，结果她一说要去做sonogram我反
而紧张了。
第一次在宝宝版求祝福，希望明天结果顺利吧！另外，早上做ultrasound的话需要空腹

Down's screening. The 20 week big sonogram still showed boy. This week (25
week) still shows boy; this is an extra sonogram due to some situation. |

lips since I have been working with preemies as well as cleft kids for 7
years.
I personally hope all families/kids are happy and healty. But for cleft kids

schizophrenia，stabilized with Clozapine 200mg daily 已经快半年了。最近出现
了双下肢pitting edema。 我有点担心是不是Clozapine造成了cardiomyopathy，一个
其不常见的药物副作用。我先让病人去看她的PCP。结果PCP給她Lasix 20mg daily，
EKG 未见异常。我給PCP打电话，问问他的意见，到底是何种原因造成了水肿。这个PCP
说，肯定不是心脏的原因，应该是下肢静脉thrombosis等堵塞原因引起。我问他那为何
双下肢都有，为什么你用Lasix，为什么不马上做sonogram做诊断。此PCP说他会留下
sonogram的order，让病人第二天去拿，他第二天要去休假。现在病人的双下肢pitting
edema已经明显减轻，after 服用Lasix一周多。
想问问Garland, Benpu 和各位前辈，下一步最好怎么做？ |

考虑想要小孩了，上周就找了个OB做体检，他说其它都好就是右卵巢好象比较大，看不
太清，让我去医院做transvirginal sonogram with doppler flow。检查后，说我的左
卵巢正常，2cm，而右卵巢确实异常大，10cm! 现在他要联系我的保险公司，准备让我
做MRI，其他就什么也不肯说了，只说现在不能确定什么，不过肯定是治疗，暂时不能
怀孕。我上网查了，发现很少有这么大的，情况好的话就是Cysts，吃药或者手术切除
；糟的话是癌症，卵巢癌的治愈几率极低。
太可怕了。我一向身体健康，没得过重病，尤其是woman health，就没有过什么妇科病
。月经从来很规律正常，没有疼痛或不适，大学里有一次800米测试，我正好来月经，
还咬牙跑了（年轻不懂事啊），之后后腰酸了两天也就没事了。从没想过会出现这种情
况，原本还没想做妇科检查的，只是想看看如果准备要小孩是不是需要补充些什么东西

ANTIBODY。 你可以GOOGLE一下。你可以的话让医生帮你做一个SONOGRAM 看看是不是

only blood test. not diagnostic test like CVS and amniocentesis.
this 2nd trim screening test is combined with anatomical sonogram (
ultrasound) to give you an estimate rate of risk.
其实screening test的false positive rate是很高的，真的特别担心胎儿不正常的话
就该直接做diagnostic test，很多倾向于不冒无谓的CVS和羊穿风险的人（比如我这样
的）只不过从negative的screen test result里得到点心理安慰而已。
概率这东西，谁说的准呢？
