我儿子踢球已经3年了，不是TRAVAL TEAM，就是普通的PARK DISTRICT按小学划片的球
队。
我们这个地区踢球的人确实很多。但是，老外送小孩踢SOCCOR，很多是因为小时候
SOCCOR最容易入门，HOCKEY，FOOTBALL，BASKETBALL不适合小小孩。等孩子大一点，显
示出运动天分的时候，家长就把他们转到别的有钱途的项目了。
我儿子球队有一个小孩，算是体育棒子，队里的主力，到了一年级下学期，就不踢了，
去玩HOCKEY了。
当然东欧移民的孩子和HISPANIC的孩子，还有一些高手坚持，这是另一回事了。
我们TOWN算是SOCCOR很普及的TOWN了，每个年龄组都有十几只球队。有的小学有两只队。
主要还是硬件好。我们这个小TOWN，算一下足球场就有几十个了。有一个大的的球场，
里面有十多个足球场。这在国内很难想象的。 |

commute or weekend soccor mom/dad? if former, recommend extended warranty,
very good deal down the road. |

volunteering, etc. if they like. |

use it for summer ( we just step in for mowing every two weeks). Their kids
play football, soccor, and all kinds of balls in the yard and the balls hit
the fence. They have dogs biting the fence too.
I dont mind paying 50%, but we didn't use it 50% :-( All fences on other
sides are fine (minor repairs occasionally). Just this neighbor's broke fast
. But I admit they already repaired several pieces during past year. |

会拿你当回事儿。要是孩子自己love it，没问题。要是不是，那苦了孩子，花了时间
和money也没好结果。不如学学拉二胡更容易也更夺眼球。美国公立高中最popular的，
男生football，basketball女生soccor，cheerleading，那一项华人牛？不如到私立骑
自行车在组织一个联盟。孩子有喜欢又有利于未来申请大学。 |

。要是喜欢准备再接着练。我还带他去看跆拳道来着，可是孩子有点小，刚刚5岁，感
觉也是去打酱油了，这个还没有报名，在考虑呢。 |

mid/high school, many of the kids can play soccor in the dirt/gravels field
barefoot, but for me, it hurts even walking on it! they just run on it like
there isn't any gravels. i believe it is about the same in africa |
