as a soccar and tennis player until he was 12, similarly to Nadal. So soccar
apparently helped him and Nadal play tennis. However, soccar and tennis at
all are two different sports, and footworks are a lot different. Especially
Federer is not that young. I am at similar age, used to play both soccar and
tennis. Now very easily get hurt playing soccar.

I myself benefited from playing badminton at least for footwork, although
these two's footwork still different significantly, no mention arm/wrist
movement.
I thought, all running sports will help to improve body and more or less
benefit playing tennis.......
