哲儿一直在许多朋友的视界之外。方哲车祸遇难后，刘刚来电话
问：“方哲是你们的孩子吗？”1987年初，北大选举人民代表活动高潮时，刘刚几乎天
天来我们家，居然没有注意到一个1.87米的大孩子。因为，方哲寡言。但不木讷，而极
喜欢运动。北大物理系同事告诉李淑娴：“校园里每个球场上，都看得见你的小儿子。
”高大，少言，身手矫健，这些特征被警官学校的探子注意到了，方哲在101高中毕业
时，就有人来动员他报考警校。他没有答应。保镖专业，不是他的兴趣所在。不过，哲
儿时常给我们当‘保镖’，在中国，也在美国。

Obamacare rates are rising once again
Data compiled by the Health Research Institute of PricewaterhouseCoopers
from about 29 states plus the District of Columbia show that the average
premium increase for insurance starting next year is currently 8.2 percent.
But within that average, there’s a wide range.
In Arizona, for instance, the average premium increase submitted was 11.2
percent, but rates ranged from a decrease of 23 percent to a spike of 27

Although China overtook the U.S. as the world’s largest manufacturing
nation in 2010, the production margin between the two countries has been
razor-thin. However, new data indicates that China recently widened its lead
as the top global producer.
