前提是你的申请比较集中于某些州
1,第一个iv来了,选一个自己想去的日子(我会选11月)
2,第二个来了,如果完全在很远的另外一州,选距第一个iv一个月(12月)
3,后面接着来如果location能靠上第1,2iv,就可以连了
4,如果有home area program也进来了,安排在距离1,2中点的时间,让自己可以外面跑跑
,回家歇歇,又可以把IV排的满满的
要拿到自己prefered date,一定要早打电话定位置~

还是继续把面经写完，这个program的介绍别人写过很多，我不再妄加评论了。只从自
己的角度写几点自己记得的吧。
这家iv收到很早是我收到的第一个当时还只有一封LOR uploaded。等了2天又收到一个
才一块儿打的电话预约。PC态度不好555~，好日子全没了只剩下一月底和二月的了，没
办法只好约了一月底的（教训：一收到iv马上约）。
改约：一月底我根本没法出门，ld早有schedule out of town，没有家人在旁边我也是
决不肯把娃仍给别人的。第一次给pc写信，说我知道这样很麻烦，但是真的很想早点儿
来visit呀，听说很多人都cancel iv了，您看看有没有空位能给我改一下尼~pc回信，
对不起我们program很hot没人cancel。想想我这样说，别人给改也怪了。不死心辗转从
面过的朋友那要到了chief resident（CMG前辈）的email又写一封，我的英文也很烂，

第一段用一个personal的小故事开头，引出自己学医\专科的原因。
第二段写医学院的经历。
第三段写research的经历。
第四段再回到临床写ob经历，对patient care的体会。
第五段写希望找什么样的program，想得到什么样的training。
第六段写自己的career goal，呼应第一段。
我有不同版本的ps，但是第一，二，三，四段都完全相同。不同的是第五，第六段稍作
改动。
第五段针对program大小，可以说说希望找一个强调residents之间team work，大\ U
program说希望expose to不同的patient population。。。小的program说希望找一个
温暖的大家象family一样的program。。。

I had been calling California Medical Board many times after taking CK exam.

照自己的原则胡乱排好了就没再改过。第一张表打分，内容包括：
location
my general impression
hospital physical plant
work load
ancillary service
electronic records
fellowship placement
do I like the faculty
do I like the house staff
will I fit in
teaching and education
patient population
my intend subspecialty exposure
research opportunities
第二张表简要的列出各项跟benefit有关的细节to help me decide when the scores

发帖数: 167 | 16 今年是我第二次申请住院医了，终于在年前拿到了prematch。 一路走来，倍受打击时难免有些妄自菲薄，朋友对我说：“你虽然不是最好的，但肯定也不是最差的." 静下来想想，其实真的是这样。所以我把一路历程写一写，可能会给和我一样普通的人一点借鉴。其实真正促使我在这如蜗牛爬般打着汉字的动力是感谢与回报 --- 在我最困难的时候，是素不相识的坛子上下的中国人给予了我巨大的帮助。
这一段就罗嗦罗嗦我的感谢吧。从临床见习到面试，没有jonzhang和terrybaltim两位医生的鼎力相助，恐怕我今年的住院医申请还会仍然没有句号。面试低谷的时候，或主动骚扰或友人相荐得到了Dr. Eng，老刀，二餅等医生的指点谜津。我面试过的医院里，凡是我见到的中国住院医都在我的骚扰信后主动给我打了一个又一个的电话。从考试到面试，一路上结识/得到了很多或生或熟的朋友的帮助，stomach, docrockville,soaplover, coreg, xlitx, shoemaker, snowflower, starrysky11 ..还有好多给我答疑解惑的IDs. 最感动的是anitazhao200，百忙之中 |
