Riding through
the tail of twilight,
As a scimitar,
you cut through my moon light,
With grace you blossomed
in my dreams tonight.
Composing by the wind
you utter the sand storms' blight,
Winding across the flags
of love and fight,
But you turn
with the reflection of sunlight,
leaving me gasping
for our times' flight.
Now you finally came to my dreaming's delight,
to a snowless northern winter,
or under a rainy tropic porch.
