Here are few my 7D hands-on experience.
Canon made many small improvements on 7D body design especially at
button layout. I like new power switch and video on/off button. Lock
switch is well welcomed. CF card door is resigned and it open smoother
than 5DII. I feel 7D is a little bit thick than 5DII on hand. Don’t know
it is good or bad but I prefer 5DII. 7D shutter release sound is much
quiet than 1DIII.

optical design and IS and coatings are still employed. Only the motor

are much smoother and the paper stays wet longer when you lay washes,
which is very critical when you do wet in wet. A famous watercolorist
