早就该下课了。这样的履历表，只能靠资历而不是水平来服众，更衣室内爆发内讧也是
早晚的事
不用说什么时运不好，遇到了乔丹，否则就拿几次冠军什么的，20多年了，也就那两次
杀出了西部。手握着史上arguablely第一大前,还有联盟助攻王都是白给。看看popovic
用TD，愣是能从前MDP shaq和现MDP 老北京的夹缝中抢下4个冠军。
不用强调TD有更好的队友，根据自己的球队和球星配制其他球员，开发球员的潜力，本
来就是教练的工作。
sloan的挡拆战术是很有效，但是这么多年，也只有这一招鲜。
树挪死，人挪活，也许换个什么地方sloan一下就能咸鱼翻身 ，就像doc rivers那样。
larry brown连续两年进总决赛，其中一年还从F4手上抢下冠军，照样都下课。sloan怎
么就不能走了？更别说什么nba的黄金岁月不再这种傻话了。。要不在，乔丹走了就不

旯的 “圣地”的才是又狭隘又扭曲，变态成群， guido同学的postdoc就是在那里做的
，在下有幸跟他做过几个月的室友，估计也是最让他郁闷的之一，少数几个没让他欺负
到的。

sloan-kettering有rudensky, james allison
wash u有Ken murphy和Robert D. Schreiber
都是HHMI的名人。不过今天在MD ANDERSON面试，听说MD ANDERSON要聘请JAMES
ALLISON来做chair。
我很喜欢wash u的氛围，大大的校园，还有大学和本科部的支持，可以修修其他的课程。
slaon-kettering地理位置优势，接临洛克菲洛大学和康奈尔医学院，感觉合作起来很
方便，大牛也不少，3个学校的互动很多。
但是许多人都嫌弃st louis不好，我到觉得比起NYC，这个地方很便宜，可以有汽车开
，有房子住，一年28000的奖学金也够了。
在纽约，sloan给33000，但是宿舍一个月就750，还有室友，厨房超级小，没客厅，而
且在纽约要做bus, subway，很不爽。
这已经是我的top 2 offer了。接下来还有一个mayo clinic，u chicago考虑，Mayo
clinic好处就是5年学校奖学金，教授不出钱。

发帖数: 4990 | 18 首先是DW跟老教练在比赛后发生了激烈的争执，这时候管理层并没有站在sloan这边，
我猜测主要原因可能是由于害怕在合同结束后失去DW想尽量讨好他。引起老教练极度不
满，一辈子在犹他还没有人敢挑战他的权威，而且管理层也不护着他，所以立刻辞职不
干了。大部分球迷这时候都对球队不满，DW更成了千夫指，他虽然是争执的赢家，但是
过得并不开心。球队这时候觉得当初处理不当，而且意识到即使做了这么多也可能留不
住DW，及早换出去可能筹码更好一些，而且有可能让sloan回心转意。所以转眼间把球
队球星送走。
这些事情到现在为止几个当事人都没有正面公开这些内幕，很多细节都属猜测 |

eng “Nikita” Guo, an MBA student in MIT’s Sloan School, passed away last
Friday in her apartment in Cambridge. Her death has been ruled a suicide by
the Medical Examiner’s office. She was 28.
Her death certificate, filed Oct. 30, states that she hanged herself. She
was discovered by her husband, Bochao Zhang, on Friday evening. |

（帮同学问问，上学期一个组的几个老外同学，都特别照顾我，
知道我找到了casemanager的工作还特地放学一起请吃了饭。）
扯远了，就想问问谁熟悉Memorial Sloan-Kettering 癌症医院，在Manhattan 那家，
这个同学有3年内外科经验，也是在Manhattan 的医院，她弄了chemo certified，想去这家癌症医院，申请好几次了，1年多了都没消息。
还有一个韩国同学是mountain sinai，想从老年科转到cath，
一个菲律宾女孩帮她递了简历给她们护士长，正好也是我们班的同学，
这都上学期的事了，好像她还在很郁闷的等着。也不知道是HR的人动作慢还是经理慢。
有什么办法么，还是大概这里就算有经验也非要认识人才行？
对了，
和朋友聊天提到的，
医院cashier的工资是25一个小时，她申请的new york hospital queens,
有工卡的可以试试看先找类似的工作，

了半年，在MIT审了8月（2轮），CRM半年（2轮），最后还是拒。
我建议你写成 rigorous case study, 投到JOM，POM。

好多都只能做Operation
前10的别的学校谁做operation啊
可怜
mit学业压力过大，太工科化，是很大的问题
学生根本没时间networking或者准备面试
考试经常一个班挂一半的人
被逼重修，就算时间冲突要出去面试，老师也不许，必须重修，而且还要额外上辅导课
，不许出
去networking,我怀疑别的学校找不出学业这么重的mba项目了，其他都是就业导向多 |
