on the mountain, and edge tune them every 8 days. If I don't have the time,
or just being lazy, I will send them to local REI. REI only charges $10 for
hand wax and $25 for base tune, which I consider a good service at a good
price. You can do p-tex yourself before sending skis for base tune.
They always say wax your skis before put them in storage when summer comes,

才开始往下连滚带爬，不过比我在新年时候上了高级道再做缆车下来的经历确实有了进
步。
我现在就是对自己的parallel 还是觉得不对，
一个ski patrol告诉我一点要领
1.weight on downhill ski
2. shift weight
3. shin against the shin guard
我现在shift weight好像有些问题， 在重心切换的时候把握不好，然后两个ski就会撞
在一起或者变成大pizza了， 我尝试在切换重心的时候，把原来的downhill甚至提离一
些地面，有几下感觉还可以，速度快起来的时候就直接一个大U turn趴在地上了。
另外我两个ski即使平行， 估计还有一尺远， 昨天回去腿疼死了, 估计姿势还是不对
请各路高手指点一下，顺便猜猜这个雪场是哪里的 |

binding. It seems to be a good deal. But I am not sure how good the ski is.
Is it suitable for my level? I plan to use it for at least 3-4 years.

发帖数: 1800 | 9 初学者上课，现在流行教练说法是，两脚自然分开，大约与肩同宽。很多运动员比赛的
时候双脚间也有明显的距离，有时候比肩宽还宽很多。但是也有很多高手滑的时候双脚
并拢，并且很优雅流畅
那么，这个skis之间的距离到底应该多宽？ 我觉得这个问题其实没有问到点子上。关
键不在于两个skis之间的地面距离有多少，关键是两条腿要保持几乎平行。只要保持两
条腿近似平行，转的弯越急，腿与地面的角度越小，那么skis之间的距离就越大。同时
因为内侧腿弯曲得比较多，所以内侧脚自然的在外侧脚前面。小回转的时候腿与地面的
角度不那么小，所以skis之间可以比较靠拢
高山速降，GS这些比赛的时候，速度太快，也需要双脚稍微分开保持平衡。而自由式地
面技巧的时候，需要双脚并拢，也是为了平衡和一致。否则很容易一只脚在坡顶，一只
脚在坑里，就各走各的了。但这些都是在双腿近似平衡基础上的微调 |

爬山也不是老百姓平时这种爬法。那个都是脑袋挂在裤腰带上的
爬山的部队，夏天爬山，冬天滑雪，不知道谁想出这样的好主意，说服美国总统成立这
样的部队，国家出钱让你天天ski，爬山，当时一下子把世界各地的ski，登山好手全吸
引来了，最早的“军训”营地就是今天的Colorade 的 Vail Mountain，我们今天去那
里住一天要二三百块钱的地方。。。还要自己花一百钱另买滑雪票！
山登山协会也是他们创办的，很多开创了Ski school和Ski的运动器材公司，连Nike公
司都是他们部队的老兵开的。。。
越来越大，没有这样的队伍还真不好捍卫我们的领土。 |

Plus you were skiing on unfamiliar terrain/conditions, extra hard.

希望在西部的雪场，但是得保证感恩节的时候有足够的雪量。不需要太大，我们反正也
是新手，第一个雪季都在local小雪场，今年是第二个年头。不用太有名的雪场，人少
些最好。
大概3天2个人，住雪场附近resort，不算机票的话开支预算需要多少？谢谢！另外，一

合，不过这幅ski是适用于advanced水平的，如果你说你是刚学的话，那就可能不是特

网站。
二手的一般可以看看craigslist, local一般雪季前有ski swap之类的活动。去雪场的
路上也通常能看见一些店卖大量的二手ski。其实新手的话感恩节找deal买入门级的新
ski 带binding也就一百多。 |

缆车不是public的，management 有权决定对公司有利的经营策略。
Snowboarder的视野几乎只有一半，危险到skiers的安全。无数血淋淋的事实和例子。
另外snowboarder对雪摧毁太严重。
Alta允许视野向前的board, 而不是横着的。
Alta的terrain很多平地, 缆车少，不设人工park，不是很适合jsnowboarders。
Alta的收入skiing only会更好，如果允许snowboarder，大部分snowboarder在Alta的
平地痛苦咬牙，Alta还丢了特色，失去部分skiers。
Alta的skier patrols 团队总的来说更有经验，更dedicate。。。

试试bonafide，不过只有180的有点偏长就做罢了。
先租的soul 7，一开始感觉就非常好, good response, predictable and precise
turn, 不
愧是skinet评分all mountain里综合分排第三的ski! 只是一开始binding的din给我调
的太松，脱了三次，害得我有此放不开 。groomer上，不论是高速GS，还是快节奏小回
转，比我现在的k2 shockwave都精准稳定很多。off-piste，mogul上更是充分表现了操
控性和稳定性，如果不是我技术还练的不够好，简直能用随心所欲，心到ski 到来形容。
中午去换了experience88, 也算是能排进前二十的，号称crud性能排第一。两趟下来没
有太出彩，也许是今天alta雪太好了的原因。maneuverability比较起soul 7略有不足。
太想念soul 7了，于是又下山换了回来，专门要求把din调高些。然后整个下午就太爽

千万别学滑雪是对初学者来说的，对于班上大多数骨灰级的雪友来说，天要下雨，娘要
嫁人。随他去吧。只是，大家一定要安全滑雪，一定要带头盔。God bless you all！
首先，滑雪这东西象吸毒，上了瘾就麻了烦了。它让你起五更，睡半夜，耗钱才，重滑
雪，轻过节.要命的是那种在云端漫游,林间穿疏,飞流直下,荡气回肠的感觉,那种在初
下双黑的恐惧和心跳,那种在大回环是恰到好处的carving,蓝天白云下雪山飞狐的潇洒.

平衡差的话还是ski吧。snowboard需要靠移动身体重心平衡前后的edge. Ski很好上手
，而且现在的proshop 也是ski卖的好些。双板的更新换代更快些
Ski的玩法也很多，神码mogul啊，terrain park. Snowboarders一般都不喜欢mogul,但
是他们玩terrain park,尤其是half pipe很有优势。看LZ喜欢玩啥了。初学者一定要上
课, you are learning with a group of people at your level and it helps to
build your confidence as well. |

滑雪场地. Essentially,it is based on the Bar and night life.
From the snow/trail quality point of view, Killington is not as good as the
northern VT/Maine ski areas, for ex, Stowe, Jay Peak, Sugarloaf...
However, it's a good enough ski are for most skiers/boarders to enjoy.
