going to the attic. There would be water marks on the plywood near the
skylight. There are two possible reasons for skylight to leak: 1. The
flashing that covers the joint between skylight and roofing is leaking. That
does not need replace the skylight. Just fix the flashing is fine. 2. There
are leaks between the glass and skylight frame. The will require replace

上会有些水滴，但是又不会聚成流的那种漏。找了一个美国人来看，他说是玻璃的接缝
处漏水，要整个skylight一起换，要五百多美元。然后我说能不能把玻璃接缝处封一下
就可以了，他也没说不行，只是说这样不长久，一两年后还是会漏。我现在在想干脆找
个handyman把玻璃封一下好了。就是不知道是不是像他说的会不长久。而且你们觉得五
百元换skylight（零件和人工一起）是不是合理呢？谢谢。
还有，奇怪的是现在这个skylight好像又不漏水了，好像自己愈合了一样。不过我觉得
不管怎么样重新封一下总没有坏处。 |

亮堂堂的看起很爽，但是厨房比其它房间明显的夏天热好几度，冬天也冷得多。估计是
缺少了insulation的缘故。
我以前买房子看到过为了把旧房子改的亮堂而加了5～6个skylight的，那种房子估计住
起来跟住玻璃房的感觉差不多。
总之加skylight要想好。 |

deck的那面墙完全就是玻璃门，采光很足的。搞两个天窗，夏天晒死了，我都怕把地板
给晒坏。
不知道有没有哪里可以给skylight做窗帘，那种可以用长杆子之类的打开/拉上，或者
更fancy一些可以遥控打开/关上的？
又或者干脆把skylight给填上？ 这个恐怕很贵，等于要做屋顶了。 |

有一个简单的， plumbing, electrical 还有 HAVC 。可都不是一般 remodeling 的小
打小闹，修修补补，而是为新建两层楼安装全新的系统，而且要把新的系统和旧的系统
连接在一起。我老人家的老腰都要累断了 , 现在还没完工（但进展还算乐观）。
为了给自己一点激励，前两天干了个简单的，立竿见影的项目：安装了 tubular
skylight 。在 hallway 的卫生间处于 house 的中间位置，没有窗子，大白天都黑漆
漆的，要用就得开灯，一直就觉得不爽，前段时间利用给扩建部分的房子做 roofing
的机会，把 tubular skylight 外面采光的部分给搞定了，见照片。
这里对附件的限制太多，只有一点一点的贴了。 |

透明玻璃的那种，貌似是个利用折射把阳光弄到室内，所以屋顶上的口子也不大，室内
的天花板上也不是传统那种skylight的样子。可惜没保存下来，请问有人知道吗？
开个skylight要多少钱呢？如果是买新房，这个活是以后自己找contractor弄好呢还是
叫builder弄好呢？大家有什么建议意见没有？

ceiling上也开了一个 2ft x 4ft 的口，然后是一个像 sun top diffuser那样的材料
板子，但是好像很薄，每次开门关门那个板子都会啪的一声。（光是透过屋顶玻璃到
attic，然后透过ceiling的透明板子照到屋里）
想问问大家，有没有比较好的材料可以装在ceiling上，让屋顶上的透过玻璃的光比较
柔和的照到屋里？而且板子不要太软，要不然有点气流就会啪的一声。
