The Knickerbockers’ Carmelo Anthony played 29 minutes Sunday against the
Philadelphia 76ers. He scored 22 points. But New York lost 106-94 to the
Sixers.
That’s not unusual. On Feb. 21, 2011, the Knicks traded virtually half
their roster to Denver for Anthony, who longed for the bright lights of New
York.

In my impression, Embiid is done for next season. It's then wise to tank one
more year and develop another big fellow in the mean time. Plus, this
organization also has the tradition to have dominant big guys.
Sixers might be a force in 3 years, if it all works out.
