Shumlin Pushes for Marriage Equality in R.I.

Vermont governor Peter Shumlin spoke about his state’s journey toward
marriage equality in Rhode Island, where he urged lawmakers to put aside any
fears and vote on the right side of history.

当妈妈的，肯定都会担心孩子的安全啊，如果恐怖分子来了攻击学校啊啥的怎么办？我
很害怕，马上打电话给 Washington Jay Robert Inslee 360-902-4111。我说可以想其
它方法帮助难民，但不要接他们来华州，毕竟谁能保证难民里不混有恐怖分子啊？
有人接听，很客气的说会把我的意见加到电话记录中。

纽约时报28日公布全国各州的州长支持率调查结果，去年珊迪飓风救灾期间颇受好评
的新州州长克利斯蒂位列第七。
纽约时报此次调查采用最近四次的民意调查结果，并将支持该州长的民众数量减去
反对者数量，得出最后的净支持率（net job approval）。克利斯蒂最终取得42的
净支持率，怀俄明州（Wyoming）州长弥德（Matt Mead）以66的支持率高居第一，
排在克利斯蒂之前的州长还包括阿肯色州（Arkansas）州长毕比（Mike Beebe）、
犹他州（Utah）州长赫伯特（Gary Herbert）、北达科他州（North Dakota）州长
达尔林普尔（Jack Dalrymple）、奥克拉荷马州（Oklahoma）州长玛丽•弗琳（
Mary
Fallin），以及佛蒙特州（Vermont）州长沙姆林（Peter Shumlin）。
科恩表示，克利斯蒂在飓风后的支持率大幅提高，直到现在也只有小幅下跌。新州
