都不算firearm, 这玩意很有意思啊。。break barrel装好shotshell primer， 然后从
枪口装BB, clock trigger,放！25yd, 很准，50 yd就飘开10 inches.... |

I bought a couple of box of PDX1 ammo, in both 9mm and 40SW.
I shot both of them, through my Steyr M40A1 and P7M8, never got any problem.
BTW, I always use Winchester shotshells for my shotgun, and I do not
remember they gave me any big problem.
But I do remember Federal shotshells gave some problem to guys guns. |

2.tie the arrow down with a separate short piece of fishing line;

i think you can mount an empty shotshell onto your arrow shaft, and just put
the lead weight in the shotshell. |

直商量着在两地之间找个靶场见面认识认识。我新玩打飞碟不久，friediceman是此中
高手，有这样当面请教的机会，我自然是欣然而至。
昨天星期六一大早起来，驱车三个小时，来到普渡大学附近的Linden Conservation
Club。friediceman已经先到了，握手寒暄，见对方是个典型的西北大汉，比我高了足
足有半头。久仰版主的大名，听说有多年的枪龄，看他在版上的处事风格亦很干练公正
，一直以为是个四十开外的中年人，不料却是个很年青的小伙子，比我小了接近十岁，
暗自感慨真是英雄出少年。
friediceman告诉我：Linden Club当天有个小型的全自动武器展览，今天来的人都可以
免费试枪，他已经打过了。在Rifle Range里摆着一挺勃朗宁M1919机枪，还有几支二战
时期的轻机枪。我玩枪一年，还没摸过全自动的装备，自然是跃跃欲试。管枪的是个非
常友善的红脖子老大爷，先帮我上了两个弹夹共40发机枪子弹，我有心想试试传说中

发帖数: 1165 | 28 前天去了一趟public land试了试remington 870 express 12ga 26'barrel的pattern，
打了些不能回收的水瓶，易拉罐什么的。
似乎3 inch的high speed的打鸟弹在10多米的地方wad才打开，3 inch的火鸡弹看没看
清不知道，但wad也似乎落得很远。
于是想问问版上Shotgun玩得多的老大们，
1.枪管长度对wad什么时候打开有影响吗？
2.如果wad没有打开，比如用high speed的鸟弹打10米以内的目标，是不是就没有杀伤
性了？
3.self-defense的shotshell似乎能在出枪口就能杀伤，是枪管短还是子弹就是这么设
计的？

今天打了7盒shotshell. 一盒30-06，100发9mm
顶着大热天，自己踩trap thrower，汉流夹背的
用pump打双飞挺好玩的，一次上3发，不中可以补，现在越来越喜欢我的nova了，前几
天还yy super vinci呢，现在觉得没必要，如果有预算还有好多更好玩的可以上
30-06后作真tmd大，我的steyr pro hunter最好只能打2moa，应该是我打得不好，不适
应30-06的后座，那个塑料托太滥了，网上一搜发现好多人都说它烂，感觉不如tikka的 |

walmart的Remington UMC, $5.97, 50发， 买大点的包装，还能便宜些。
walmart的100发装的trap/skeet shot, $10.97!!!
就在去年还是16.97, 今天发现$22.98
倒是高端的shotshell, Remington STS, Winchester AA的涨幅这些年来没有那么大，
也就是$4.97/25rnd涨到$7.49的样子。
去年屯了很多子弹，今年打的时候都没怎么买过子弹，每次还算估计这一天子弹cost多
少，看来都估计错了啊，这玩意是期货，已经涨上去了啊！
看来是因为原材料cost，厂家也架不住啊，所以低端ammo涨啊涨得厉害。 高端的ammo
应该本来material cost的比重就小一些，所以影响小一点。 |

发帖数: 1190 | 34 半自动打飞碟一般都用gas operated, Benelli的recoil operated的长处是适用2-3/4-
--3-1/2"的子弹都不需要什么调整，但是后座力大，不适合打飞碟。飞碟经常一天打几
百枪，后坐力是那个时候才能“以小见大”的。
一般gas operated半自动都靠能够支持多种长度的shotshell来标榜自己，争夺市场。
飞碟全部用的都是2-3/4"的shell, 而且是light load, 所以专门的飞碟半自动设计成
适合cycle这种light load的，像remington1100,买个漂亮木把的，camo在那里会显得
格格不入。Beretta也有gas的专门打飞碟的枪,A391类的。 3-1/2说实在的，的确用不
上。
magazine tube太长会影响balance,chamber太长(3-1/2)据说会影响pattern,因为
pellet出来先碰到chamber尽头那里的坎，不过我pattern了一下我的枪，没觉得。
半自动击发之间总有气体啊，recoil spring啊，bolt啊在哪里猛烈的晃荡（cycle），
