the best area of pittsburgh. Safety and quiet.
10 to 20 minutes by bus to U. of Pitt or CMU. 4 bus line nearby.
Several grocery stores nearby. 10-15 minutes by walk.

nice neighborhood, and easy parking too. shadyside is usually crowded and
apartments may be smaller.
2301 Murray Ave is very good transportation wise, but may be too noisy since
murray is always busy. same with 5533 and 5548 Forbes Ave, but these are
closer to schenley park and the environment may be better. 6336 Waldron street
is close to frick park and may have a nice environment as well, but it may be
far from bus sto |

去了。
Fox chapel 是好，median household income>200k，房子都极贵的。
north allegheny school district，应该是好学区，看见好多卖方广告都强调这点，但
是据说它里面有个学校是比较差的，还得看房子划在哪片才行。
squirrel hill and shadyside好像public school不怎么样，每年交好多地产税，还得掏
一两万上私立学校，听人说的。
找个agent吧，他们清楚多了。 |

有个在SHADYSIDE买到2室1厅2手住房在12万左右，
有的在靠近MONROEVILLE地方买到10万左右新建的HOUSE，环境很漂亮
如果不在乎远点的话，住市郊比如 Monroeville 或north park等区，
10-30万之间真是能买到相当不错的房子 |

发帖数: 923 | 37 空调系统不光是修理的问题，关键是诊断比较麻烦。我的车首先不缺氟，再听压缩泵，
没动静，但具体到为什么泵不工作，就不是那么容易的了。最后还是采取了找一辆相同
的车，逐一更换零件排除的方法。试到最后，一个位于引擎后面的小东西坏了。
我当然不敢说懂车了，起码的常识还是有的。附件的车铺也试过5、6个了。
ahwa不久前在walter's换的电瓶，～$100，他挺满意的。但我想，附近很难找到更高的
价格了吧。
我在walter's换过轮胎，70＋税前。另一次，Tim忙，建议我们去pepboys，结果5、6十
搞定。pepboys虽然是黑店，但轮胎的sale还是经常不错的，我觉得不比tirerack和
tiredirect的差，关键后两个还要shipping。
具体情况具体分析，jiffylube现在是出名的黑店了，但我个人经验，shadyside这家还
不错，是我唯一试过，不overload oil的。当然，现在自己换更放心了。
原来Walter's给弄的都是高出max一大截。我complain，it说没事，多出的会burn了的
。我faint，没学过汽车原理吧。多加机油坏处多多，会使机油泡沫化 |

UPMC has A LOT of hospitals. Most hospitals in oakland belong to UPMC.
UPMC Presby/Mont (they are next to each other) are good.
UPMC Shadyside is good at cardi related, I heard.
West Penn on liberty ave.(?) is good, too. I am not an expert. You should
probably consult with people in that field. Different hospitals have
different specialties. |
