practice, the running should be almost automatic. middle blockers should get
used to running up to the net and jumping, even if the ball is not set to him.
two things are always tricky. one is that passing has to be perfect. the other
is the mutual understanding between the setter and the middle blocker. if
those two things are fixed, the middle blocker will be become effective.

the setter, and the two girls from Taiwan Univesity make the backbone of this
team. They actually knocked one game out of the biggest challenger of the
Purdue team ( thanks! ). The key to win a women's game as well as other VB
game is to maintain consistency, UIUC's team is consistent. The two girls from
Taiwan were also doing a great job. Without the injury , the team could go

german, french, russian. we have serveral good chinese players in the club at

coached pro. in china. a bench girl (setter) kept on complained to coach Li
that she didn't get enough playing time. two weeks ago, the girl appeal to the
club director, director met with coach Li and they didn't agree on the issue.
then the coach Li decided to quit.
now the girl got playing time, but the whole team suffered from her terrible
set. it is not fun at all. we are going to baltimore for the national

每次得分都大喊大叫，虽然年纪比那些老美都大
但看上去最小
那个从山东来的outside hitter，前面一直没怎么发挥，我还奇怪为什么她被放在 outside hitter 1 的位置上，结果第四局后半段，大比分1：2落后的情况下，她就开始发威连续扣球得分，还有2个solo block，大涨tigers的气势
第五局一开始tigers还特意back rotate 2 so that Yang Na can start from left front这样她就可以先打3轮前排。可惜第五局一开始tigers自己不断失误很快输掉比赛
不过，说实话 stanford的实力确实要高出missouri |

missouri. much younger than that. and she was a member of china national
youth women's volleyball team in 2003, and went to world youth women's
volleyball championship. she is very beautiful by the standard of a
volleyball player.
the outside hitter from shanghai last year should be Danru Shen. She played
as a libero when she was in shanghai.

outside hitter actually is coach
of george mason men's team: he played for Pepperdine University, pro. Club
in Scotland, 9-Man team Hip
Sing.
I remember he is not tall at all, 5'9", but hit backrow perfectly. And he
brought a middle blocker from his
GM team. hip sing setter is like 5'8.
we met DC hip sing in the pool play, i remember we lead like 22:18, then
they did two subs, and won 7

们训练，扣球感觉比两大主攻还猛。据说本来是要打opp的。
不过在mental方面不太灵，传球不够狡猾，也没有kehoe那么pushy。PSU特意找了90年
代的传奇二传来做助理教练，专门培养她，感觉这一年进步不少。 |

out of play in penn thursday practices.
many decent players: steve, luis, two MBAs eric and john left in 2004 too.
those guys prolly can be your "精神领袖". and you simly missed the best part
of ISSVC: yiqing(ex-national player, 2.05m, coach in temple), ying (
shanghai team setter, once in the national team's selection), zhengjia (ex-
national player) ...
if you get chance to practise with them, you will not be excite |

，只要你愿意打，co-ed, reverse co-ed, power co-ed, all-men, all-women, women
5-1 (setter can be a guy)...
最近一次2-day tournament，带了两个副攻，一白人一abc，那个怯场啊。平常打drop-
in扣一个有一个，那两天比赛，就第一场球一人扣了两个，最后一场球一人拦了两个。
都是平常不太打tournament的主，我后悔死了。
在美国打球还有个好处，大家也都提到了。这里有世界各地来的排球爱好者。我打过的
队友中，欧洲（比如德国和法国）业余俱乐部出身的，基本功相当好。俄国人中间，厉
害的就特别厉害（体校出身），其他的都是乱来。菲律宾人越南人墨西哥人，都打得比
较快，但是菲律宾人的后排要更好。
美国是什么人都可以做教练，鱼龙混杂。我有认识的人，基本打垫都不行，还收钱教中
小学生呢。 |

participated into Philly's tournament last year. Another tough team in Level
