不知道题目中的solaris server的说法对不对， 反正我对server是一点不懂了，大虾们
莫笑。
实验室买了一个Sun Fire 280R server , 当时砍价太厉害，连training的服务也没有了
，结果问题就来了--一堆人大眼瞪小眼，买来的东西连包装也没开的躺在那里好长时间了
。今天group meeting, 老板发了狠心，要把服务器建起来，让毛遂自荐者上前。结果我
退得比别人慢了0.01秒，就接了这个光荣任务了。
问题是我不知道从哪儿学起。
服务器在那儿，Solaris 9 operation environment 已经装好了，我们还不知道是应该建
一个实验室的intranet， 还是连到系里的局域网上。哪位大虾能指点一下，给一个tas |

The Win2K adv server can join a existed NT4 domain, or form a

If you can VPN into their network, you should be fine. Outlook 2000/XP can
sync with Exchange 2000 inside intranet (or over VPN). You must have a valid
active directory domain account to access Exchange server.
I was saying if you want to sync over web using Outlook 2003 on your client
PC, you must have Exchange 2003 w/ Windows 2003 Server on the server side and
the server must enable HTTP access.

I am running a windows small business server 2003 with bundled exchange
server.
I have some users who need to connect to the exchange server (using outlook)
but they are not on the Windows domain (either because they use XP home or
they are outside contractors).
Is it possible to connect to the exchange server without being on the domain?
How reliable and convenient is it? We mainly use the email and calendar
feature.
Please share your experiences.

我的Vista或XP都连不上这个Terminal Server.
我用ethereal看了看，连接是一度建立了，但是不知何故就断开了。
客户端和server端都没有任何出错信息。
可能还是License或加密协议的问题。
恳请版上搞定过Server2003 Terminal Server的同学指教。

去年年底买了台新laptop，lenovo thinkpad，自带windows 7
费了好大劲把软件都安装好了，今天带到办公室，能上网，但是找不到任何local的
server，用旧电脑可以看到很多的server，新的laptop打死也找不着一个。
请问有没有哪位高人知道怎么解决这个问题？应该怎样才能找到这些local的server？

我刚刚从Intel 那里得到了一个免费的 server， SR1690WB。可是不知道盒子里到底装
的有些个什么东西（CPU，memory，hard driver， etc）。想问一下你们一般情况下拿
到个 server 干什么用啊？如果要做 computing 的话，还需要什么附件？直接插上电
源就行了吗？就像一般 desktop 一样吗？

Intel 上花太多的时间。我可以把 server rack放到server room里，可能也会帮我把
它set up 起来，但以后就得我自己照看了。看来这个东东就像个 鸡肋了 。

给定N台server，每台记录了X个response time。每台的X不一定一样。然后给一台
central server，求出所有response time的median。
先想了每台回复median，但这样俨然不对。然后就想都传给central server，但是这样
太浪费流量。对方提示每台都只给central发一次数据就求出来。还说想想average怎么
求的。但是average和median完全两码事，没任何联系啊。
