一个数学中心兴起的背后绝对不是前台看到几个主角，在他们背后是一个很大群体，从
二流数学家，大学数学老师，中学老师，直到一群对数学狂热的民科！这些人数学水平
可能有参差不齐，但大量科普、历史性阅读物使得“什么是数学”在社会的普及程度，充
分保证了至少三代到四代人不间断的前赴后继，终有机会成为数学世界一极。无论19世
纪的法国，还是19世纪后半叶到20世纪上半叶的德国，还是二战后的美国，基本都具备
这个特征！再看看中国，一个二流数学杂志都没有！一个能写像样的数学史的数学家还
没看到（李俨先生古代中国数学史写的不错，但那离现代数学太遥远了）。就这目前中
国这个现状，10年内想成为一个chinese school真的异想天开的乐观了! 我看还是先普
及普及数学，先花10年让国内能出个位数的世界级数学奇葩，再花10年至少让中学教师

本科是国内某工科top学校（专业是工科，但和CS/EE没有任何关系），离开大学快九年了，一直在地方团委干，东西都还给老师了，本科时微积分，线代什么的都还不错，高中还物理竞赛得了奖，小城市高考理科状元，对编程，CS，EE一窍不通，28周岁。
如果找不到Google，Facebook的工作，自学多久可以找到微软，Cisco，IBM之类的工作，也有考虑去念一个CS，EE的master，能不念自学找到工作最好，绿卡移民来美国的。
大学学得那些东西全部还给老师了，要真找到技术工作，不论是哪一行都是要重头从零开始学。希望大家都给点serious的建议，多谢啦。大家都是在美国混都不容易。

买SUV而不买minivan、wagon主要理由一般有两点，一个是四驱系统，另一个是车底盘
足够高，在积雪深的地方也能通过。不过因为一直都有厉害四驱的轿车和wagon，所以
选择SUV唯一能正经说得过去的理由就是ground clearance高。这也是SUV区别于轿车和
minivan的主要因素之一。
一般我们说四驱性能差，或者底盘像轿车那样低的“仿SUV外形”的SUV，是太公型SUV
，或者老色狼型SUV。
偶然查了一下ML350的底盘高度，竟然只有5.2英寸，真是让人喷饭。5.2英寸的ground
