than 1 week past the time that the chair said he would know the decisions.
I still sent him an email to thank him, since he was the editor who accepted
my manuscript the 2nd time after it was rejected initially. Also he has a
big center grant with another faculty whom I collaborated with as a postdoc.
It is time to move on and prepare for new interviews.

I usually keep the amazon codes in my email account so that I can send the
email codes asap. This time I copy and paste the wrong email with old codes
accidentally.
My mistake, that's all. New codes have been sent to the buyer. I hope he can
remove the [-]. |

12月20日左右收到的DOS cc 给我的 recommendation letter,
到现在（2011年1月20日）没有任何音信，包括版上所说的I797-C也没有收到
更不知道receipt number是多少。
按版上经验给USCIS打电话（1-800-375-5283）询问receipt number被告知他们不能查
到我的信息（根据我的姓名和生日），让我询问DOS。
我只能打电话给DOS（电话：202-663-1225. ），电话需要等n久，好容易接通了又被告
知我的case已经close，说USCIS那边可以查到database。
我又打回USCIS，再查还说没有，我说DOS说你们可以查DOS的database，结果USCIS说他
们不是为DOS服务的，然后就让我去do Infopass，go to USCIS website to make a
free appointment。
可我这里最近的去面谈的地方是华盛顿DC，离我这里5个小时车程。
没办法，我想再给DOS打个电话吧，结果这回那个人不耐烦了，... 阅读全帖 |
