发帖数: 23 | 11 前一阵子，版上讨论compressed sensing，特别提到吴同学的文章，最近有空拜读了，
感觉思路很独特，有些问题问一下：
一个稀疏信号如果用分形来建模，作dimension reduction，其维数最低是其分形维，
与信息论有关的就是信息维，吴同学的文章与直观符合。 吴同学最后说：
sparsity is just one manifestation of a mixed distributioin
这句话是什么意思呢？
此外，分形在通信和信号处理中真的有用吗？分形在图像编码，Internet traffic中火
过一断时间，后来好像用得不多。
我就是吴同学。
首先非常感谢你对我paper的喜爱！毕竟care或者care to read it的人也不多……
然后说我的看法：
1. 我做的跟candes，tao或者donoho做的的关系，exactly就是info theory跟coding
theory的关系吧。这样类比的话，你也就看到没有太多的可比性，对吧，也不能说谁谁
就basic谁就deep了。您可能对info theory的formulation比较偏爱吧：）当然了 |

串联一个AC voltge sensing relay 的东东, 想法是当电压低于一定的值时会自动切断
电源.当电源恢复正常后仍保持断开状态, 由人工Push Button去连通Power supply.

in that case, this question is too easy.
LSAT is so mean and adds the 2nd sentence to disturb you:
"In fact, correctly addressed mail takes longer than this only when it
damaged in transit. "
so A looks like a possible contender.
but the 1st sentence reads: "Nearly all mail ...." so only a small
proportion of correctly addressed mails are damaged. then A is impossible.
I don't think common sense is much involved here. |

on optical fiber）， 硕士是mechanical engineering, 有很强的编程(C++/C/Matlab
/LAbview)和CAD, FEA经验。
在Terumo cardiovascular 实习过， 做的是FDA 的 documentation 和 system V & V.
因为公司不能提供H1B, 所以也没有留下来。
最近申请过很多公司，只有几个有回信的，请这里个各位前辈们指点一下。

上个星期因为开会回来第一天，上午看了一大堆的病人，下午医院的会诊又一口气看了
9个，加上开会前几个老病人，5pm时我突然觉得累的不行了。 可还有一个病人没看，
我当时的念头是，这个病人是老病人了，可以明天看，今天回家吧。 可又转念一想，
就剩一个了，看了算了。 所以咬牙爬楼梯到8楼，看了最后这个病人，可当我打开电脑
，发现这个病人的病历我已经写好了，我一下子意识到我犯了错误，把别人的病历写到
这个病人的病历里了。 我查了一下，果然有个病人的名字与这个病人相似， first
name都是Shirley。
走出医院时，我还感到余悸尤存。
昨天与我的一个同事交流心得时， 他哈哈大笑：God has a sense of humor
我怎么觉得这一点也不funny呢？ |

有时候半天不刷，玻璃都花了，有时候刷个没完。
不用这个rain sensing雨刷好像还不行。regular的刷就飞快地狂刷，
有个小level好像只有automatic的时候稍微控制一点速度，也不绝对。 |
