因为除了负责各种相关事情，自己还有很大一部分coding。可是现在家有2个小的，
我现在也不太积极，做好本职而已。期间manager招个lead，现在他手下有3，4
project。
我在他手下干。每次review，manager都问我还想不想升lead，我当然说yes了。
可是我看manager也没有让我升lead的意思。
我的问题是：Senior 可以一直做下去吗？因为我的salary已经快到senior level顶了。
如果不升lead，每年还有没有加，哪怕只是很小一点。
也许该问HR， 可是不知道HR会不会告诉manager。 |

校的律师着手准备申请绿卡。希望能早排队。绿卡类型EB2 perm.
现在是今年8月就可以提到senior lecturer 了，然后因为干的好，院长和校长都很满
意，开始考虑可以未来2-3年给assistant professor.
现在有问题了，律师说。。。只要我的title 变了，不管是senior lectuer 还是
assistant professor，绿卡申请都要重新来！！！我觉得不合常理阿？！大家努力工
作不就是为了promotion 生活过的好一点吗？难道为了等绿卡，我要拒绝一切
promotion?
能不能请教这里有经验的人给指点一下？ 非常感谢！ |

，说要从头来过，不然移民局要来查的。

不过我觉得还是g的senior好，原因很简单，g的senior在内部是很低的职位，m的
principal是很高的职位。拿差不多的钱，混个巨高的职位，压力大不说，也很容易摔
跟头。m的末位淘汰制度也不是闹着玩的。 |
