总统川普1987年著作「交易的艺术」（Art of the Deal）共同执笔人史华兹（Tony
Schwartz）指出，川普现在正处於「重度崩溃」；他认为，川普可能会在某个时间点，
「找出某种方式来辞职」，如同川普在商场驰骋多年的行为模式一样，每每都将亏损扭
转为胜利，「因此当他离开的时候，还可以风光宣布自己是赢家」。
1987年出版的川普传记「交易的艺术」，史华兹是共同执笔人。上市迄今，这本著作累
计已销售逾100万本。虽然川普始终对外坚持，这本传记是自己写的，但2016年总统大
选期间，史华兹出面表示，当年川普出钱请他代笔，他花了一年半的时间与川普相处并

全数领取退休金。但民主党国会议员纷纷向他提供工作，以确保他可以获得全部退休金。
司法部长塞辛斯称麦凯博向新闻界披露未经授权公开的信息，而且与督察长办公室调查
人员并未完全诚实合作，因此在16日把他解雇。
但麦凯博辩称说，他有权披露这些信息，他被解雇的原因之一，是有人想破坏特别检察
官穆勒对俄罗斯干涉2016年选举的调查。
民主党国会众议员波肯(Mark Pocan)已在 17日宣布，他已向麦凯博提供一份工作，在
他的国会办公室负责选举安全相关事宜。
另外，国会众议员拉斯金(Jamie Raskin)和古提艾雷斯(Luis Gutierrez)也向麦凯博提
供工作机会。
波肯在一份声明中说：「我提出请麦凯博担任选举安全工作是一项合法建议，自由公正
的选举是美国民主的基石，共和党人和民主党人都当关心选举的诚实廉正。」
