This is simple calculation:
Year 2008- Year 2007= 18403-18065=338
Year 2009-year 2008=18883-18403=480
Year2010-Year 2009=19392-18883=509
Is 509 big different from 480? I don't think so.

Lessons: never short those small/mid cap tech. The potential buyers (big
cap techs) usually have a lot of cash
at hand and tend to pay much high premium. If you wanna hedge tech long,
