the M&A. If you look at the history for the past 5 years, the asset purchase
was getting bigger and bigger, from B&L around $10B to Salix at $15B. As a
matter of fact, they tried to purchase AGN for $50B. We will now see the
organic growth (or lack of) starting 2016.
The most recent failed purchases include Abby, DNDN. DNDN has a large

今天虽然创了新低，但是却收在了上次最低点的上方，而且量还不小。看来最坏的已经
过去了，花街早就料到，开始扫货了，继续下跌的可能不大。就算按照他们修正后的
EPS guidance $7来算，医药界平均的P/E ratio也是32左右（VRX应该是业界的领先者
了,用平均值来算应该已经很保守了），所以理论上VRX“应该”是200以上的股票的，可
是现在P/E ratio才4都不到，严重低估了10倍呀，这就是Ackman坚信自己投资的原因。
除非是VRX有fraud（现在看来已经排除这种可能）, 要不就是花街的那套价值理论出了
问题，否则，VRX怎么看都不应该是只20多块钱的股票。退一万步来看，让我们忘记VRX
是一只200的股票（可能一两年内回不去了），但一只$30以下的股票with EPS $7,你认
为合理吗？如果这个比例合理的话，花街上绝大多数的上市公司可以关门大吉了，股票

纳指铭刻上了14年来的新高，标普指数也接近新高。
截至收盘，纳指上涨1.1％，而标普指数上涨0.7％。道琼指数上涨0.8％，其收盘价离
17,000就差44点。同周一相比，周二的成交量也是不错的上涨，有迹象表明机构投资者
现在做了不少提升股价的工作。
具有广泛意义的是看涨纳指的投资者与看跌者的比例大约是2比1，同时多于2比1的投资
者看好纳指。
IBD50上涨1.7％，其中Salix Pharmaceuticals（NASDAQ: SLXP）助力不少，该公司由

周一股市遭受双重打击：一些龙头股忍受损失，主要指标也在下滑。
截至收盘，纳指下跌0.8%，这是其自6月12日以来最大的挫折。在领头的工业板块，比
如生物技术，软件和太阳能的下跌拖累了科技股为主的指数。标普指数下跌0.4%。
小盘股遭受重创，罗素2000跌1.8%。这是其自到4月25日下跌1.9%以来最大的损失。
