最近正在兴致勃勃地准备买枪练枪，结果周一早晨隔壁发生的家庭枪击案又让我有了一
点犹豫。一个亚裔移民家庭，两个大人，两个孩子，不知什么原因都遭枪击，两死两伤
。初步调查结果认定是男主人枪杀妻子和孩子后自杀，妻子当场死亡，两个孩子幸存，
被直升飞机送去就医。
大家买枪主要是用来保护家庭，防止外来侵犯，但有枪后，来自家庭内部的潜在危险是否
也随之增加了呢？

这些问题够回答一个学期的了
抛砖引玉一下
1. 这个似乎仁者见仁吧
2. 这几个ism都是并存的并且也相互渗透，简单的说就是democratic
peace认为democratic system is conducive to peace, 代表作品Russett "Grasping
the democratic peace"
institutionalism强调the regulating power of int'l institutions, and the
resulting peace among nations，我的感觉是这里的人大多也做IPE，Keohane, Nye之类
的；
Structural realism认为the anarchic int'l structure is the reason for states to
commit to realism，具体参见Waltz的大作啦
这些都强调international structure，或者是political system，不像traditional
realism (也许算上Mearshimer在内） |

Slanchev 等人，这次又请了研究Democratic Peace的 Bruce Russett等人，不过还是
商学院搞的，呵呵，我们系的基本上已经没有做 methods 的人了，都被商学院挖走了
