今天上午路过一家local店， 发现外边摆了些rug, 尺寸看上去放在dinning table 下
正合适，
花色也很喜欢，进店一问，15刀！ 我二话不问，扔了钱，就抱回来了。
回来后，杯具了。
它卷得外边（我能看见的三条边）是齐的，里边竟然被刀子切的非常不完整。 原来是
块下脚料！
然后我发扬一不怕苦的精神，拿家里所有的刀子剪子都试了一遍，根本没用。
现在的问题是，只能扔了吗？
能切rug 的刀叫啥名啊？
总之一句话，千万别学我，
贪小便宜吃大亏阿。 |

by knots per sq inch. but I still recommend you go to a local store if you
have that budget. it's not a small investment, and deserves a professional
to help you out. and you know, the depreciation of rug is very low compare
to most other furniture. you spent $4000 on a sofa which will worth $200
after 20 years, but for the rug, it will hold up the price pretty well, or
even rise for something really nice. |

I once bought a rug from amazon, which only has 70 knots/sqin ( the website
doesnt say it ), so I have to return it.
BTW, one friend in shanghai told me that most wool rugs from china are
actually made by cotton or other fabrics. I am very surprised.
I wish the two handknotted rugs at my home now are not made from fabrics.

it's hard to clean anyway because water can't run through the rug that is
machine made.
a good rug that can be easily cleaned has to be wool, hand knotted. silk is
much more luxurious and feels very comfortable, but silk is hard to clean as
well.

好点。你还有个选择是铺vinyl planks，也不怕水，没有瓷砖那么硬和凉。
不过冬天也还是需要铺rug。Rug好处是潮了可以整个拿出去晒太阳 |

厂生产的，但是因为有牌子所以贵，其实质量都差不多。我上次卧室买的他家的，结果
地毯放上一段时间再掀开颜色明显比没铺rug的地方浅。这个是普遍问题还是地板质量
问题。我rug下没垫东西，rug背面确实很糙。还有家具拖动就有划痕。地板是maple的
，不算太硬的材料。是不是应该选比较硬的材质比较好？ |

让我痛苦不堪的就是她上厕所的问题. 她在客厅里随机大小便, 我刚买回家的rug, 转
个身回来, 人家就毫不客气地尿上了一泡. 后来我在rug上喷了香水, 好了, rug人家是
放弃了, 但是地板上到处划地图.
我去petco买了那种据说可以吸引狗狗在上面解决问题的卫生棉垫, 但是caca丝毫不感
兴趣, 人家环绕垫子尿一周可就是不在垫子上解决问题. 偶google了下, 说是等着她要
尿或者要便便的时候就把她抱到固定地点去. 但人家从来不当你面上厕所...都是我睡
觉或者转个身干吗的, 回来就一个惊喜...
还据说有狗砂? 不知道那个有用没. 还有据说遛狗带出去解决. 可是偶观察它, 大概白
天便便两次, 晚上便便一次, 俺也不能一天出去三趟啊, 而且出门她就知道是带她上厕
所的? 万一出去疯了一圈后回家继续肥水不流外人田?
偶也教育过, 就把她拽到便便跟前闻闻, 拍她脑袋几下, 再拽到目的地, 把便便放那里
, 再让她闻闻, 再摸摸脑袋. 完全没用, 难道是偶的教育方法不对?

To avoid too many "legs" in ketchen, I took the 3 dinner chairs out to
our living room, sitting on the other one, having my breakfast while
watching Roomba labors. The room still had a square dinning table,
a kitchen island on wheels, and two rugs. Roomba did a great job on

overstock各买了一块，PB的比overstock的软一些，漂亮些，质量确实更好，但价格贵
得太多了，两倍都不止好象。综合下来，还是overstock合理多了。所以后来我所有的
area rug都是跟overstock买的。另外跟他们买了些窗帘，有不错的，也有很烂的，看
