每个人都有迷与苦为渊源的烦恼，想从这烦恼的羁绊中挣脱，有五种方法：
第一，对事物的见地须正确，辨别它的前因与后果。一切苦的根源，是由于心中有
了烦恼，一旦烦恼祛除，就会显现出无苦境界的正知。
因为见地有错误，生起对‘我’的思虑及忽视原因与结果的法则，被这错误的思虑
所拘束而生起烦恼，陷入苦与迷的境地。
第二，抑制欲望，使烦恼镇伏。以光明正大的心，制服眼、耳、鼻、舌、身、意六
根所发起的欲望，把产生烦恼的根本斩断。
第三、使用物品须合适，思考要正当。选用衣著和食物时不要考虑是为享乐，考虑
到衣服是为防御寒冷和暑热，以及遮护羞耻；食物是维持修道的根本，是为滋养身体。
有了如此正当的思考，烦恼将无由生起。
第四，凡事都须忍耐。忍耐寒、暑、饥、渴、辱骂，毁谤更要忍耐，因为接受忍耐
可以消灭燃烧己身的烦恼之火。
第五，远离不应去的所在，远离不可交的朋友。如能做到这一点，烦恼的火焰则消
