Miami River Bike Trail. At about noon arrived New Town (the end of the trail
) with 55+miles. Then turned back. had lunch at Loveland (mile 70). Backed
to Xenia Station at 6:15pm. Total 11 hours with 9 hours of riding time. GPS
shows 112 miles total.
Rode in 8 sections, each about 14 miles long. Took about one hour to finish
at the beginning, but slowed down toward later of the day. Felt the hardest
between mile 56 and 70 |

and Wed were low 30s). 21 miles to the state capitol and it took 1 hour 48
minutes as we were police escorted and weren't allowed to go any faster. It
was very hilly though. Caught a car ride after 3 mile on the return trip (

seriously question myself if I wanted to ride when I was putting on my half
dry cycling cloth on. but the worst part is wearing my still soaking wet
shoes. it was two hours of pour suffering from frozen feet.

, churches in the distance, hopping from one small town to another,
navigating the rotaries...
I rode the north suburb of Paris today, about 40 miles. The weather was
perfect. Navigation was tough. I was using the GPS on my iphone a lot.
Each little town is different, and there are frequent traffic stops. The

at 22+ mph to help the team. beginning of the rollers -- still hanging in
there. first 10% climb, pack was moving fast, i started to drop back. then
within a minute I was the last and my HR blew up.
then, out of the blue, i rode off the course. i ended up with a number of goathead thorns in both front and rear. totally fkn stupid! couldn't even finish lap 1... hitched a ride back and called it a day.

at all, but the after-math is a bitch. had to hose down the bike, let it
dry, and re-lube.

had a chance to join the local ultramiles cycling group. They were
incredibly strong because some of them were on racing team and some were
retired from the racing team. I could barely hang on with them. I was so
happy when I finished the ride. We started in the town called Chappell Hill
, a small town between Houston and Austin, Texas, at 7:30 a.m. with a
heavily foggy morning and 100% humidity.

rode it for more than 1 hour. It is reasonably quiet but can wear off your
tire quickly. For training, many people recommend the roller. |

I could not capture the front of the rider as he was coming too fast (on
uphill too). He rode the team bike, wore the team kit, including socks, and

Last Friday I went to Hamilton and did my first road race ever. Only rode a
couple of times this past winter, so I was totally not prepared at all. For
30+ year olds, you race in Master starting from Master 3 level. There were
over 100 riders in Master 3 group, plus Elite 4 riders start at the same

on group riding skills if you can find one. There are some group ride
ethics and hand signals you need to pick up. B group is fast enough unless
you are a really talented rider. It is better to learn in a group that you
can handle comfortably.
I started with C when I started riding with a group and that is after I rode
by myself for almost a year. But, you look stronger than what I was then.

earlier instead. Oh, well, can never trust the weather forecast.
And then in downtown while trying to maneuver around a stalled taxi making a
right turn in an intersection, I skid out 'cause the front wheel hit the
turning streetcar track on the ground which became super slippery when wet.
Luckily all vehicles were slow and stopped to let me get up.

started to run more. A knee injury a couple of weeks ago forced me to stop
running for a while, which made me feel restless and decide to go for a long
ride. I have always wanted to ride to the western end of the beautiful
Illinois Prairie Path and to check out the Fox River trail which connects to
the Prairie Path, so I set out on my hybrid bike to do a 4:30 ride (timed

在网上补了点课,今天去了我老板推荐的一家本地车店,我老板的劳工是多次铁人,每
年都参加全铁。他的车全是在这家买的,这家店在Yelp上好评如潮,所以就摸去了。
他家没有很多牌子,比如根本没有任何fuji,cannondale,cervelo,specialized等牌
子,只有四个牌子:Bianchi,Look,James,KHS。下午一共试骑了四辆车,分别是
James和Bianchi,分别有carbon,alumni和steel frame的不同型号,我目前比较喜欢
如下两款,当然都超出了我的预算(奶奶的,真实很难控制诱惑!!)
两款标准基本一样,是全carbon frame,都是Shimano ultegra
