Fugene 6/HD不是roche自己的产品，其实roche之前只能算一个exclusive distributor
，授权使用fugene注册商标，原始厂家生产，roche贴标出售。
据我们这里roche的人说，旧合同到期，新的代理合同谈崩了，加上fugene专利快到期
，随之而来必然是山寨和降价，所以roche就借此干脆直接推出自己的转染试剂
XtremeGene。
在我自己的细胞系上，XtremeGene HP不如Fugene HD，所以我们就直接从promega买了
，完全一样的东西，包装有点差异而已。 |

Genentech brand in USA. But most people think they will adopt Genentech's
successful business model in Roche, especially for the Research part.
In USA, Roche will be marketed as Genentech; outside USA, Roche is still

了，换成了更新的 XtremeGene 9。我们实验室用 Fugene6 很多，每次买都是 25 瓶一
起买，然后拿一个 volume discount。所以 Roche 的 sales 专门到我们实验室来做过
Seminar 介绍这个新产品，希望我们也换过去。最近我们发现 Roche 不卖了 Promega
反倒开始卖了，所以也不担心没得用了。XtremeGene 的效率比 Fugene 高。如果你以
前没用过 Fugene 的话建议从 XtremeGene 开始用，要是一直用 Fugene 的话建议不要
贸然用 XtremeGene，transfection efficiency 和 maximum transfection 都不一样

感觉Roche的在小amplicon上的well to well variation比biorad小，但amplicon大一
些, roche的well to well variation就大得多，而biorad不论Amplicon size，表现都

really well. Roche just want to take advantage of the weak dollar, I think

求问版上各位前辈，有人了解Roche的这个Postdoc Fellowship Program吗？
现在可能有一个机会申请到这个RPF,但是看时间好像是至少两年，觉得太长（不过不知
道存不存在提前走人的可能...)。
看介绍是一个还留在学术界但是会做一个跟工业界有些connection的项目，然后
industry那边的人会过来指导验收。这种项目对提升industrial experience有多大帮
助呢？ 比起去真正的industry实习几个月，哪个好一些呢？
本人是LC-MS背景的。
