Please don't go to the other extreme.
I still have a long paragraph to describe each reference in the RLs. It
is needed to describe their credentials to present them as experts to
evaluate us and our work. "A Cornell AP" alone may not be convincing
enough.
By toning down, I mean that when some references have thousands of
citations, I don't list those numbers, but to mention that they have
many, etc.

yes, I did. But as in all cases, letterhead makes the letter look nice, but
it's not a must. You can have a couple letters that don't use a letterhead,
if it's really impossible to get one.
both are okay. You can let the editor decide, and you only request him to
print it on a letter-head.

This review verification letter is not a RL, but somebody may put it
together with RLs, and I put it in the review section. |

first, if it fails, move to NIW.
So I prepared two recommendation letters for each recommenders.
My question is , when I write to them asking for recommendation, do I have
to mention that I will need two different RLs? Is this make them less
willing to write the letter?

PL once, which was very helpful. It is still very useful if some friends of
you can read the RLs. I skipped these totally due to time limit. |

challenged your other evidence. When you response, do not mention anything
weak , e.g. they know u only by looking at your resume. No, never ever made
such kind of statement. The Rl should state that you have been international

1: As your high-impact paper came out only a few months ago, It is too early
for people to replicate your key data and even publish somethings that are
directly derived from your work. Ask the author who wrote the preview for
your first-author paper to write a strong RL for you, in the RL, you should
emphasize the high impacts of your work in your fields.
2. For other papers, ask the people who independently cited your papers to

in dealing with RFE, I would say, the new papers can be used to strengthen
your authorship, but it will not help on your contribution parts. Meanwhile,
meeting invitation will not help either.
Sometime, (not all the time, the USCIS clearly states the they only accept
evidence before your submission date, and only on the parts about

not overspend your effort on PL.

don't put the cart in front of the horse. think about how to get approved at
this time first. after ur submission u can focus on what u need to do if u
get RFE and what kind of RFE it might be, i.e., what is the weakest point in
the petition. |

不是Top 10.
NIW 在 2011年6月递交，claim了4项，2011年8月批准。上年排期大进，因为觉的工作
稳定，也受点打击，没有及时跟进(事实证明大错特错）。
学校请的律师，claim了5项 （我建议只claim3项，律师不理我）。
律师一开始就强调我NIW已经批准。I am the first one in the USA... (我曾经帮大
公司做过一个项目，老美项目负责人自己帮我写了一份推荐信，里面强调 Dr
XXX is the first one in the USA to XXXX).
然后列5项:
Paper：
3篇Journal, 20+ Conference Proceedings （个人感觉我的Journal太少，我最弱的环
节，不然可以试EB1a了）
Citations：
自己整理，50+，简单表格，没做什么油灯图。 欧美澳中墨，在我的领域算不好不坏，

下来，手严重骨折，颈部和脑部将近一步观察。现在在ER, 看到她的x-ray的照片和可
怜的小脸真的好心痛, 好心痛。今天晚上晚写时候需要动手术，希望能将受伤减到最小
。也希望大家祝福她一把，希望她能挺过这一关。
刚从er回来，非常感谢大家的祝福，庆幸的是女儿的颈部和脑部目前都正常，手部做了
手术，用了3棵钢锭固定断了的骨头，希望能不影响以后的成长。

我的做法是，到这一期的DAC的Proceeding里面找前几页的Reviewer List，然后把含有
自己名字的那一页找出来附上。此外，我还找DAC的TPC Member写了RL Letter来证明审
稿邀请的reviewer是经过挑选的area experts。
BTW：我公司的律师最后提交的材料里面根本就没要review confirmation letter，只要
了invitation letter，但是我有两个Editor/Conf Chairs的RLs。 |

1. The job offer is the key. Find a job ASAP.
2. When it is close to an offer, tell them (your next boss and the HR/
international office of your new place) you need a J-1 transfer from your
current place. The new HR/international office will start the J-1 transfer
for you. Basically they will make a request to your current HR/international
office, then your current HR/international office will do the rest.

carefully, thus why you have to prepare the draft nicely.
1. Actually, your lawyer is asking some very specific examples of how your
work has influenced your area. So it does not matter whether your referee
has used your work or not, he/she just need to prove that you have done
something that those events have changed this field.
2.That is not relevant to your RL and should be deleted.

The strength is 1. RLs, 2. Judging others work as an authority in your field
( review others paper, invitation to a "textbook"), 3. top publications. 4.
Invited presentation by Big cows in your field.
The weakness is 1. citations and 2. the total number of papers.
Fairly good Eb1a case in my view. |

I used exactly same RLs and submitted with a gap of 14 days. It turned out
the cases went to different IOs (EB1A 3 months vs NIW 5 months). My friend
did the same thing but goes to the same IO (EB1A approved and NIW denied at
the same day).
same IO, you'd better submit them separately with a gap of 7-10 days. |
