震撼华人社区的徐晓虹（Michelle Hsiao Hong Hsu）命案发生已超过四年，就在大家快要淡忘时，又爆出加州上诉法院将其中一名被告判刑发回更审。合议庭三名法官有两名法官认为应考虑他犯罪时不满18岁，不应强迫关一辈子，应给与假释机会。
本案发生于2009年3月19日，五名西裔帮派分子盯上徐晓虹夫妇在柯汶纳冈（Covina Hills）230万元的豪宅。其中一名凶嫌桑塔纳（Christopher Kevin Santana）心狠手辣，45岁的徐晓红身中五枪，其中三枪是在她打911电话报警时击中，冷血凶残令人髮指。
当时19岁的桑塔纳因特殊情况一级谋杀，被判不得假释无期徒刑，逃过死刑已算走运。当时18岁的曼邱拉三世（Victor Manuel Maurtua III）和当时17岁的史卓提斯（Christopher Stratis），也视同主犯被判同样刑期。第四名被告费南迪兹（Megali Fernandez）对蓄意杀人罪认罪，陪审团裁定负责开车把风的第五名被告艾格利（Christine Alegre）一级谋杀罪名不成立。

at the contents. It seems he set forth a new typologies for sociological
theory. I am not sure whether his this approach is pervasive in sociolgocial
academic community. According to my reading, I feel that the traditional
typologies including conflict theory, functionalism, and symbolic
interactionism is very popular. I would prefer the sociological theory book
written by Ritzer, George.
