对这个传记有人是由微词的。我把amazon上一个评价copy如下。
写这个评价的作者是个飞行时间超过2500小时，同时有200小时作战时间的老鸟。大家
看看作为参考吧。我就不翻译了，主要意见是Boyd也不是每个论点都对。F14作为拦截
机而不是狗斗机，并不是Boyd所批评的“失败工程”。F111作为轰炸机（+攻击机+侦察
