My point is just that don't be too obsessed with tax-exempt treatment. First
of all, based on your tax bracket, taxable bonds may actually give you
higher tax-equivalent yield.
Also, treasuries are state- and local-tax free, and certainly have the
lowest credit risk.
Lastly, I suggest you lower your expectation. Savings/CDs may not be that
bad after all. |
