而西方继承皇位的女性不只一位，QE I, QE II, Queen Mary etc. 西方虽然男性比女性有优先继承权，至少女性有这个权利。为什么中西不同呢？

发帖数: 18578 | 47 西方最早尊重女性的地方应该是英伦群岛，英伦群岛早在2000多年前就可以让女性继承
王位，爵位和家产，而当时的罗马帝国的法律是不允许的。因为这个原因还有了著名的
Queen Boudicca Revolt，当时新修的商业中心Londinium还为之被烧光了，后来重建了
，就是现在的London的前身，看来真是多难兴邦呀，呵呵。
我觉得现代西方尊重女性很大程度也是受英国影响，英国的女皇很多，不少还是明君，
而欧洲大陆国家的女皇则几乎没有听说过.
至于为什么英伦群岛很早就尊重女性，我网上没有找到详细解释的，这个请高手来科普
一下。

中国好像自古没有这两个传统，第一很早很早就废除了奴隶制，第二被抓的都是屁民为主，能要回来的赎金往往还不如养俘虏的馒头值钱，当然杀了了事。中国要是有奴隶制，估计屠城的现象会少很多。
西方古代杀俘还是有的，凯撒起码干过两回，一次是在高卢打败Ariovistus率领的日耳
曼盟军，凯撒明确下令take no prisoner,要尽一切可能在日耳曼人讨回莱茵河另一端
的时候杀伤对方有生力量（Most of Ariovistus’ hundred and twenty thousand men
were killed. ）；另外一次是在Avaricum，（However, Caesar's legions were in
no mood to spare any of the forty thousand Gauls within Avaricum, especially

If the summary is accurate then this is a long winded whitewash of Hirohito'
