消息都没有。刚刚却接到一个电话，说还没有收到我的材料。然后我就说我马上再给他

，都1个多月了啥都没有。反而最近有两家小杂志邀请我写review(一个没有影响因子，
一个大约3都是英文），不是很正式的那种，就是邮件中说建议我给他们写个review，
知道我是因为我给他们发邮件要求作reviewer.简历中有点能唬人的文章。
今天和老板说了能否推荐做个reviewer，老板是editor,但是是那种行业中非常好的杂
志，考虑到我的英文水平，一直不好意思提这个要求。结果他满口答应。然后紧接着告
诉我有个杂志邀请他写个review,我愿不愿意写。一个月就要。
接了，但突然有点发怵，3篇review,得看很多文献。会有很多时间达进去。最关键的是
本来要求‘review'别人的文章，一个没捞着，不知道老板会不会把让我坐reviewer这
件事认真对待，还是‘等到有机会在通知我’。
各位大牛市怎么弄到reviewer的机会的，对我怎么那么难？ |

现在和一个杂志的AE比较熟（不是很好的一个杂志），帮忙review一个manuscript两次
（是不是只能算一次review？），人家很满意，和我说如果需要帮忙写绿卡推荐信，和
她说一声。我现在的review很少，就2, 3个，想多从她那里弄几个review，这样可以增
加数量。可是如果所有的review都来自同一个杂志，这样好吗？一般向一个杂志要
review的推荐信，帮杂志review几次比较好？ 还是无所谓， 只要人家愿意写就行？

发出的人是我们老板的走的很近的一个ｆａｃｕｌｔｙ。我们老板命令我review。我昨
晚提交了review comments，今天早上看到来信说把我的review删除了，说我把一篇文
章的review意见错提交给了另外一篇。但review意见是可以update的，但却把脆直接把
我作为reviewer都删除了，cc我老板（我老板正求着他办事），结果我被骂不
professional。太令人伤感了。
且不说让我review的态度是命令的方式。这么短的时间还这样做太伤人了。求其我不确
定我是否真的从我的notepad里拷贝review comments时粘贴错了地方。无论是什么我写
信肯定是道歉先。
因此，我打算写封信郑重的回答，并把我的review意见都附上。但不知道表达我的意见
时适合措辞合适，既表达抗议又点到为止。

（化学方向）。顺便包子求review的机会。我的研究方向是电化学，生物传感器，纳米

1. 有的editor回信后，我会马上收到一封信，说已经把我register到xx editorial
system里了，用户名和密码是xxx等。有的就只收到editor的信说会把我放到pool里，
其他没有任何信息。我想请问，这样的信是editor在敷衍我么？如果不是的话，需要我

了，还是没消息。着急想拿到卡回国，还想换工作，不知道为什么一个简单的RFE
review会pending这么久。
上周按照大蜜的方法发了NSC的email，没动静，约了两个星期后的infopass。想请教下
大家我还有什么能做的？
1. infopass？希望能问出点东西，既然被RFE了，应该background check过了吧
2. service request？是不是一定得等到60天以后才能做SR？
3. 大蜜提供的第三个email，貌似是SR后15天没消息才能发，是这样吗？早发会有什么
副作用？
4. 给USCIS打电话？貌似大蜜不推荐这个。。
实在是等的焦急，求大家bless，希望灵验

明。journal review还好说，还能找到review confirmation的邮件。但是conference
review就很难办（有review invitation letter），主要是因为当初conference发邀请
的时候，并不知道自己会审多少篇文章，而且最后即使收到了review confirmation
letter，上面也不会提供review了多少篇的证据，再加上自己也没有打印online
review system上面的具体内容。我这个方向conference也算是个大头，杂七杂八加下
来也至少review了90篇conference paper，如果没绝对的证据表明，不知道会不会算。
我之前申请O1的时候只用到了jounal和conference的invitation letter。现在帮我准
备材料的律师说需要confirmation，顿时让我手足无措。所以想请教相关专业的申请过
EB-1A的朋友谈谈这个问题。

I know when Nature Review series editor invites my boss review our
studies, the editor said clearly the review will be peer reviewed and can
be rejected.
In our case, the editor sent us back the reviewer's comments, and they are
pretty decent comments. Our review of course benefits a lot.
My boss told me Nature Review series rejected one invited review from our
lab before but not this one I mentioned above. |

发帖数: 39 | 35 看到前面有个哥们发的对于无良reviewers的，个人的意见是要有机会一定要坚决回击
的，别太包子。但是回击的时候要有理有节，做到professional即可。
说老实话，很多文章你说想挑毛病，拿出鸡蛋里挑骨头的精神是绝对跳的出毛病的。你
要想让一篇文章过，再烂，也是绝对可以的。
有的reviewer天生就很mean，非要把别人的文章说的一无是处，而且很多判断有很强的
主观性。比如前面那位哥们的reviewer说的什么 willfully ignore blah blah ，敢情
这reviewer还是人肚子里的蛔虫。这就非常主观。最讨厌这类reviewer了，说话就不会
客观些。对于这种reviewer不用客气，对等原则，也不用把他的文章批的一无是处，只
是要把毛病都跳出来，然后放大即可。
文章被拒了，有适当的理由，我觉得完全可以接受，有些可能的确是自己想的不周到，
这样的reviewer没问题，也帮我提高。可是还有的reviewer是无厘头的，而且非常主观
，傲慢，这种人就该反击回去！只是反击的要有策略和有理有据。

最近几个月刷卡比较猛，然后上上周就被review
了。amex要我的2011退税表，我之前就一个穷逼学生，年收入1万，要是只看退税绝对
死翘翘。所以就多给了一些东西，包括退税表，公司business成立的letter，checking
的statement。6天之后，amex打来电话，告诉我通过review了，没有任何change，这才
算长出一口气。
个人的一点看法是，不过你是否有自己得公司，如果能提供有足够存款证明的
statement，应该对通过review有很大帮助，毕竟可以证明你有足够的钱来偿还债务。

这个月初叫这个HR 给大家做了一个Compensation review 基本就是关于 公司如何决定
薪水标准的一系列信息 之后每个组的头分别给自己组的组员单独见面做Compensation
review follow up 分别解释我们的薪水是怎么具体决定的
明天下午轮到我 跟公司的大头（President）和我们组的头（VP）单独碰面 做
Compensation review follow up meeting. 这个不是公司的年度review 顶多算是个信
息共享吧
我觉得还是要抓住这个机会 给自己加点分
我的情况是 去年10月开始做contract 工资绝对是under paid 当时找工作实在是无果
所以也从了
今年4月份 在我的一再要求下转成了full time 薪水涨了13% 算是正常吧 签合同的时
候老板说 第一次review 要等到明年4月份 然后之后就跟大家一样了 每年年底review
当时不懂 觉得貌似合理

Journal的主编想请我给些一篇 book review。
我过去给这个Journal review 过paper。 因为Journal不牛，所以review paper的
invitation letter都是主编直接发email给我问我想不想review, 主编的email也没有
什么固定的format，看起来不是很专业。
因为申请绿卡，所以我问主编能不能提供一个formal book review invitation letter
。主编说没问题，你给我个模版吧。
我给各位大牛的问题是，如果主编的邀请我review paper的email都不是很正式的话，
如果把这个book review invitation letter弄得太正式了，是不是显得比较假啊？ 还
是让主编直接发个email book review invitation算了,和以前保持一致。

我在biomedical field。自己的老板还挺牛的，搞grant能力很强，lab有使劲儿花也花
不完的钱。他业内地位很高，也是几个杂志的editor in chief。他人其实特别nice，
底下人求他帮忙都不遗余力的。但是就是典型的美国人，比较理想化，对移民啊绿卡啊
一窍不通，好多事情他不能理解的就觉得没有道理不能帮。
我跟他说我申绿卡，需要给journal做reviewer，问他能不能给我refer给几个editor。
他当时表情非常惊讶，说“他平生第一回听说这种事情，觉得不理解。他说peer
review应该是找这个领域内well established的professor来review才算公平，怎么能
找你们junior postdoc呢？这不是对投manuscript的人不公平么？什么样的editor能做
出来这种事情啊？”
我说，“好多办绿卡的人都有这种review机会啊，他们也都是postdoc。也不需要是特
别好的journal，就是那种新出的很需要reviewer的小期刊业可以的”。

发帖数: 1142 | 43 我们这个领域会议比较重要一些。。。有点关于paper review经历证明的疑惑。
和journal不一样的是，journal每次发一篇过来review，邀请信里写的很清楚是哪篇。
但会议的paper review，有时都没有邀请信，直接就是TPC的paper review assignment。
或者邀请信里列了两三个文章要review。有的submit了，会有个thank you或
confirmation email，有的就没有。
我理解的review次数是以文章数量计的。那么， 一次会议的review怎么区分成三篇文
章的review，从证据的角度上。

发帖数: 362 | 45 发信要review之前，考古研究了下，貌似大家发给Editor in chief的比较多。
于是我就挑了10个杂志给Editor in chief发了信。本来以为大部分人都不会理我，没
想到基本都给我回复了，而且说的还挺客气，大概都是些：
Thank you for offering to review. When we have suitable manuscripts we
will consider you as a reviewer.
We can certainly add your name to our reviewer database.
但仔细研究了下，发现一个问题。貌似有几个Editor in chief都是直接把信转给了
Managing Editor，然后让他们给我回的信,不像大家说的Editor in chief会直接把信
再发给相关领域的Editor。Managing Editor一般都不怎么懂专业，他光把我名字加到
database里，感觉也没什么用啊,将来Editor挑reviewer的时候很难大海捞针的把我的名
字给挑出来吧……

review的机会。然后review的时候跟编辑联系了几次，review完的时候，编辑就想邀请
我给杂志写点东西，说如果我有时间的话就进一步联系。我估计是给杂志写review.
我很乐意给杂志写review.可是给杂志review文章这事我都是自己联系的，没让我老板
知道，我也不想让他知道。因为我觉得我老板不屑于小杂志，觉得是浪费时间。可我自
己水平又不高，小杂志我自己就很心满意足了。所以我不想让他知道。
但如果我给杂志写review,发表的时候是不是也要署老板的名字啊，还要让他过目啊？
我们老板很忙，我也不想麻烦他。如果可以不经过他就好了，不过我估计不可能。
麻烦大家给我点建议，我该怎么办。 |

发帖数: 314 | 48 班上有很多人询问要review的经验，特地分享一下怎么能很快的攒review，可能对跟我
一样专业的人比较实用，
review是属于140申请里面最容易搞定的，因为只要多话时间，肯定能攒不少，我大概
花了一年半的时间攒了50篇以上的review，而且属于没有特别积极的review，而且推掉
了20篇invitation以上的。我属于化学专业的，一个很有效要review的办法是在RSC杂
志注册一个账号，即使你不发文章也没有关系，在author information里面把你的
research interest填多点，这个很快就会有review，第一篇可能长点，一个月，后来
就会有越来越多的review，有时候多的你忙不多来，而且rsc里面的杂志很多，会有不
同的杂志邀请你，这些杂志的影响因子不低，所以将来申请绿卡也容易吹，第一篇审稿
的时候最好要认真，细心，留个好印象，，后面稿件就会不少，把这个办法推荐给其他
不少人，都成功啦，，
另外一个自己注册就能来稿件的是IOP science，可以注册成为审稿人，后来也会来不
少稿件，
找很多编辑要稿件感觉很麻烦，大家可以试试这些杂志，， |

。NOID里有一点说我review是routine work，我在为这一点找回复的evidence。另外我
已经知道1b克莱姆三项是一个失误……
言归正传，Co-author一篇review article，发在一个还不错的journal，请问这个可以
用来支持克莱姆review吗？具体有些什么可以说的点？
像这样的内容是不是在推荐信里说出来比较有说服力？我打算在推荐信里先吹一通
review article本身多重要，写review article要求很高，只有少数人有资格写（当然
其实这个少数人是我老板，我只是跟着挂名的……），然后再说我co-author的review
article一共review了200篇paper，其内容如何的insightful，对行业的发展多么有帮
助等等。
