个星期前在学校career fair已近递过resume了，被告知不用再另外申请。 不过我不放
心，所以准备在网上在递一边。
我的resume上写我最熟悉的语言是 Java, 不是C++ or C# (确实是这样）。 这个会造
成对方不良印象吗？？

Yeah I have read that article. The problem is that I cannot find a good
alternative for Thread.Suspend and Thread.Resume. For example, if I have a
worker thread which does sth taking a long time (a process which is not a
loop) and the user would like to have the option to suspend and resume the
process, what is the best way to do this in .Net?
Any suggestion?

i was able to use the udev rules to create a stable node /dev/raid-part-1
for the partition. Use uuid in fstab, i can see the home is mounted on /dev/
raid-part-1.
After resume, a new dev node /dev/sdg1 is created, /dev/raid-part-1 is still
there, df showed /home was still mounted on /dev/raid-part-1. Yet the /home
is not accessible. i tried to remount the /home on /dev/raid-part-1, but
after remount home is still not accessible.

/sys, no help either.
i noticed, if i don't login as any user, meaning no process is accessing the
/home, i can resume w/o problem. the /home is mounted on my given device
name after resume.
this is really puzzling me. will try keep the raid controller kernel module
during suspend. that's the last thing i can think of. |

找tech spec的resume不需要特别准备，你找industrial job的resume一样可以用，如
果你没有legal经验，那么就不用写legal经验。但有如下注意点：
1. 写你的研究经历is perfectly fine，但不要写得太学术，一堆术语HR同志们是看不
懂的。
2. 注意突出你的课外activity（leadership之类），和teaching experience（比如TA
，给小朋友们科普的经历）。
3. 如果你有strong publication record，选择4-5个列上即可。
4. 另外，education部分写上你的GPA是有用的，附上你的award也是有帮助的。 |

分很多。所以很多看似不重要的细节其实很重要，总得除去大部分人吧
3。很多人在北美MFE，却在国内intern。 不知道别人怎么看，其实这是minus。就象有
些人读了一堆MS(>＝3)，然后还在到处找工作

I talked with several recruiters, they would spend at most 2 or 3 minutes on
resume in first round view, sometimes only 1 minutes. you did not put
valuable stuff on 1st page, you are in the 1 minute loop. What's your point?

resume and call ppl and schedule interview and .... each day. How much time
you expect they spend on one resume?

简单，没有技术含量的东西，请教版上同学，resume里写几个project比较合适？是不是所学的统计知识都要通过project反映，有没有必要现在开始重新写几份？
PS：本人master，参加毕业考试，所以也没有thesis之类的。

<以前给朋友写的一些个人想法，很罗唆，仅供参考>
补充:resume重点在于突出自己的能力，比如summary/qualification中如果你写a fast
learner，easygoing之类的，也可以，但是这个大家都可以写，如果你写an
experienced statistician with industrial experience，这个就较突出了。
因此要写得meaningful。
少说一些套话，多注意和job requirement上的关键字match。
写完找一些朋友（外行内行都可以）看看，问问他们有什么反应（first impression）。

keyword analysis. 顾名思义，就是将job description 里的keyword 分析一下。大家都
