发帖数: 1 | 3 前几日想要去办理I-20的extension时，发现这月15号已经过期。
去学校的国际生办公室咨询，建议我回国或者去加拿大重签F1回来restart。
Restart的缺点是要再念满两学期的学才能获得OPT这点办公室也有跟我说。
但我在网上搜到有人直接在Montreal travel restart，没有提到重签F-1的事情。当然
那篇帖子的po主也没有提自己的F-1是否还有效。
我的疑惑是，我现在I-20和F-1都处于过期的状态，可不可以也通过美加国境的出入直
接让新的I-20生效呢？我现在的状态下短期在美加之间海关穿行要不要分别申请两国的
签证？I-94上的F-1 D/S会不会有所帮助？
同学的经验和网上的信息看来申请加拿大的旅行签证要一个多月的时间，如果需要申请
加国签证，比起去加国我更倾向回国签。
当然还有一个选择就是启动OPT，抓紧完成thesis和答辩。
但是我还是希望知道各个选项更多的信息。

restarts (killed and restarted)?
Basically my PC has some virus and it infects C:/windows/explorer.exe. The "
virus" keeps on sending out ARP reply broadcasts on my home LAN and it
associates every IP address with this particular PC's MAC address. As a
result, my other PCs do not have internet connectivity. If I kill explorer.
exe and restart it, those ARPs stop and everything works fine again.

But I am having difficulty restarting Asterisk server.
What I am doing is just changing sip.conf, jabber.conf, extensions.conf and
gtalk.conf.
Then issue : Asterisk -rvvvv, to get into CLI
then issue command: core stop now
then issue: restart now
It spits out "Unable to connect to remote asterisk (does /var/run/asterisk.
ctl exist?)"

either of them works
reboot:
reboot

It looks that the system can't stop checking sth about internet connection,
and step forward. I had experienced the similar problem when using word or
origin (have set remote printer and 2 remote folders in the system), if I am
working offline, some of the program functions are very slow, for example,
word equation editor, when I click an equation, it takes quite a long time to
activate equation editor.
