my house (about 13 year old now). They will handle the insurance claim for
me and even pay the deductible for me. I know the insurance rate will be
increased after the claim. But he said my insurance will increase anyway and
I am paying other people's claim.
I am not sure if it is worth to do so. Anyone has similar experience?

，然后就淹了厨房，水一直渗透到楼下。结果是楼下replace 了大约13x16feet 的
ceiling. 当时我们就很着急，一直去office询问报价，但是那个general manager 说
不知道，只是叫了人来修。修了大概6个上午，然后就杳无音信了。今天 突然收到帐单
说要我们付$6600.我们都傻眼了，不知道该怎么办。
以下是我们自己总结出来的觉得不合理的地方：
1、他们从来没有问过我们的意见，自己就找了contractor，也不事先估价。我们一直
问，他们就说不知道。问过这边的朋友，说一般先找几个contractor估价，然后选一个
。但是我们根本没机会，什么都是他们说了算。
2、只告诉我们要付多少钱，没有任何具体的账单细节。
3、网上查了一下，打电话问了一个contractor,得到的结论是估计$500-$800就可以了
。当然，这个价钱不一定准确。但是我们怎么不觉得要高达$6600.整个apartment才能
有多少钱。
希望大家能给点意见，万分感谢。 |
