advanced cancer to go into remission. Your friend is luckier than a person
winning lottery. But I doubt the change of diet or life style played a key
role in his remission. Do not make me wrong, a healthy diet and life style
is important, particularly in cancer prevention, but not enough to reverse

因为小孩也想学医,就去当candy striper咯.老汉也是闲的慌,所以也是尽可能
volunteer,接送也方便一点.结果发现末期病人真是不能喷,非常感性,完全丧失理性,会
把自己的幻想当成事实,而对事实听不进去,这还是头脑清醒那些,倒是那些成天就上杜
冷丁还是吗啡什么的,好伺候一点.你要是跟她说快了,死定了,她就慢慢地不听你的了.
你要是说一定能活下去,她就把你当救命稻草一样,一天到晚缠着你,就希望你再说一遍;
你要是不见了,她就死惦记着你.
听说国内骗末期病人钱的很多,老汉的看法是,他们的钱太好骗了.这边被关进医院的,还
好一点,医护看着,不让骗子进来,但真有办法的,象聪明如Steve Jobs,不一样去胡搞什
么替代疗法吗,还不如正规的活得长.
还有啊,很多人以为70年代后,癌症的治疗有了很大进步,老汉看到的是,治疗没有明显的
进步,还是老一套.有进步的是很多具体癌症的早期诊断,老汉知道很多人看到这里就欢
呼起来了,但老汉跟你说实话,这个不见得是好事儿,因为治疗手段还是老一套,实际上没

里，离我们家开车五六个小时呢。是不是他就看准了我是外州的车，没法上庭，才一直
盯着啊？

我现在37岁，我父亲10多年前过世了，妈妈现在62岁。2010年查出癌症，手术后以为治
愈。但是2016年复发了，然后医生说是4期，只能是姑息疗法，只能化疗，没有手术。
但是目前来说没有症状，也查不出有任何癌细胞，但是医生说化疗不可能杀死100%的癌
细胞，所以可能有影像学也观察不到的癌细胞在身体里面。 查了复发癌的5年生存率不
到15%。 我妈妈现在化疗完2年后还处于remission，已属非常幸运。
问题在于我老婆和我妈妈处不来，上次癌症复发就是和老婆大吵过后。
我现在可以入籍帮我妈办绿卡了，但是我老婆明确表示不能和我妈生活在一起。也就是
说，就算我妈来美国生活，她只能自己在旁边的公寓生活。这点我非常接受不了，我妈
不会英文，不会开车，一个人在美国会非常寂寞。
我买了地下室带厨房卫生间的，而且有独立出入口的房子，我的意思是如果我老婆父母
来的时候，我可以带着我妈住地下室。我老婆还是不同意，说我们出入会影响到她（出

without waiver, you need to get F1 visa stamp to reenter as F1.
J2是可以工作的，问下转H1B是不是没什么gap
To change from J2 to H1, you need the J waiver first.
People when J2 to other status such as F1, or stay outside of US for a while
(but less than 2 years) and then H1, which is possible if USCIS is remissed.
But for AOS or immigrant visa where full US history ever must be listed,
USCIS will find out your J history and you need a waiver by then. |

crohn's disease (cd). etiology is unknown. i think there are arguments on
both autoimmune-like triggers and viral etiologies.
uc is mostly bloody diarrhea. many people with uc can have spontaneous
remission, even if not, it can be cured by surgically removing the colon.
and the colon will need to be removed after 10 years of uc anyway to prevent
the development or colon cancer.

as far as cancer goes, they rarely use the term "cure", they like to say "in
remission", not much you could do but hope she keeps up a good spirit and
be happy and comfortable, best wished |

1. yes, gleevec is the first option for most patients diagnosed with CML,
2. needs prescription in the states otherwise impossible,
3. many patients will respond to gleevec, since it's one of the newer drugs,
not sure about long term remission rate, marrow transplant is the only know
cure, but carries significant risks,
4. very nice of you to be willing to be tested for donor, i think you'd need
HLA matching, but if she's gonna have it tested in china, for you might as
well to go to the same fa |

there is no cure for rheumatoid arthritis, but start therapy early could
help induce remission, can conside DMARDs or NSAIDS and maybe local or low
dose systemic steroid, and get started on physical and occupational therapy
early, |

cytoxan and steroid for induction, i think treat for about a year then taper
, but it often relapse after tapering, so sometimes they use methotrexate or
cellcept or imuran as a maintainence therapy after achieviing remission
with cytoxan since they are less toxic than cytoxan,
i don't think there is really a "cure" per se, |

i don't think monocytic leukemia is treated different than other acute
leukemia, M3 or promyelocytic leukemia treatment consists of ATRA plus chemo,
otherwise all other AML is treated with combination chemo with cytarabine
and anthracycline for induction and once achieve remission then high dose
cytarabine for consolidation, if you have relapse, the only choice would be
marrow transplant, |
