双方家庭成员,伴郎伴娘,DJ,Minister都必须到场.因为这些人都是在婚礼当天有环节必
须参与的,所以必须要参加rehearsal.
Rehearsal是把整个ceremony的仪式走一遍,保证大家知道第二天怎么弄,这样第二天就
不会有人出洋相了.
排练完了,礼节上应该还有rehearsal dinner的,一是感谢到场的各位能抽出时间来参加
今天的排练,二是双方家庭成员会一次面,大家互相了解一下. |

my voice, but the rest of my body is free of cold symptoms. went out in 30s

rehearsal，他们会针对你的实际内容给出比较切合的建议。跟据我个人经历，我有以
下几点无关具体talk内容的建议。
1,时间安排上，不要花太多时间完善第一稿。而是要早早完成整个talk的内容，开始
rehearsal和听取建议。job talk跟technical talk很不一样，你会发现根据feedback
会有很多大的改动（尤其如果你做过的东西很不一样，而且你需要决定怎么把他们整合
起来）。所以要留给自己充足的时间来rehearsal+改slides。我自己的情况是整整花了
一周时间，分别给三个senior的老师rehearsal，每个人的feedback又得花一两天来改
。所以后来等slides定下来，基本没留什么practice的时间。我觉得ideal的plan是三
周，第一周搞定第一稿，有些slides可以粗糙一点，没有关系，第二周跟不同的人练习
并restructure slides，第三周slides内容基本定下，然后polish每个slide，确定每

PowerPoint的动画效果比较多，但图片只能一幅一幅地动作。如果你有两幅图片要一左
一右或一上一下地向中间同时动作，可就麻烦了。其实办法还是有的，先安置好两幅图
片的位置，选中它们，将之组合起来，成为"一张图片"。接下来将之动画效果设置为"

2. 滚动文本框的制作
右击工具栏打开"控件工具箱",再点击文本框,而后从"属性"里面把滚动条打开,在TEXT

对于制作好的powerpoint幻灯片，如果你希望其中的部分幻灯片在放映时不显示出来，
我们可以将它隐藏。方法是：在普通视图下，在左侧的窗口中，按 Ctrl，分别点击要
隐藏的幻灯片，点击鼠标右键弹出菜单选“隐藏幻灯片”。如果想取消隐藏，只要选中
相应的幻灯片，再进行一次上面的操作即可。

Fresh PhD，机械，没有任何工作经验，第一次onsite拿到理想的offer。在这个版上受
益无穷。面试之前更是得到大家的鼓励。所以写下我的经历，希望对后来者有帮助。
电话面试之后一直就忐忑不安，从来没有面试的工作经验，加上我面试的职位要求PhD+
工作经验，job responsibility里面很多要求很高，而且onsite要求我做一个1hr的关
于我Phd课题和其他相关RA项目的presentation。
废话少说，主要总结一下我的经验：
1.公司很友好，把面试官的名单告诉了我，去之前好好查了面试我的人之
前发表的paper和patent，大概猜想他们可能会问我的问题。
2.所有的我自己想到的面试问题都作成了PPT给自己练习用，每个问题罗列几个回答的
要点。如果靠死记硬背太难了。记住要点临场自己发挥才能不紧张。这个方法对我很好
，到后来面试的时候每个问题我都能比较清楚的回答。
3 Presentation 100%熟练，rehearsal！我没有条件找到听众rehearsal，我老板也很
忙，所以我都是自己大声present给自己听，一直到面试前天晚 |

得会不会被加黑名单。。。
觉得FAIL掉主要在几个方面：
１面试官对具体做了什么问的很细，问了写了多少行CODE，俺平时根本木留意这个KK因
为TEAM上就俺一个写SW。。。
２问为啥不用API。。。开始没说清楚三方软件不开源。。。他认为我们在REVERSE
ENGINEERING，没解释清楚。。
３问到在GRAD SCHOOL的时候教LAB课拿了什么RATING。。俺是帮老板带课，学生都是
REVIEW老板，这个也没说清楚。。。
４开始连不上就比较蹊跷。。所以也不能怨社会KK
谢谢大家嘱咐。NOT MEANT TO BE吧，再接在励。
经验教训：MOCK INTERVIEW，MOCK INTERVIEW；REHEARSAL REHEARSAL。。。。紧张时

最后一场婚礼，这场婚礼是有史以来最惊险的一场，也是最有意思的一场。
话说这对新人是我遇到最好说话的新人。新娘从问价到签约，都是网上进行的。签约前
我还反复问她要不要见一次，她说她和新郎在两地，见面也只能见她自己，但是相信我
的portfolio,于是就签了。婚礼前两周，我也只是和他们视频了一次。一直到
rehearsal那天晚上才真正见到本人。新郎是犹太人，在哈佛读博后，新娘是印度人，
在UCLA认识的。一个犹太教，一个是基督徒，一个180以上吧，一个150左右，无论肤色
身高家庭背景都相差很大。
他们的婚礼地点在Natural History Museum of LA County, 以恐龙化石著名，还有各
种动物标本什么的。Ceremony订在museum的rotunda，reception在mammal hall.
Rehearsal那天晚上我带着5D2去测光，发现环境光非常暗，尤其是mammal hall, 没有
射灯的地方甚至有可能对不上焦 。和博物馆的管理员沟通之后发现，他们的供电和供

发帖数: 806 | 39 以前的住处离音乐学院大概200米， 所以晚饭后溜达过去看rehearsal. 几乎每天都有
，开始主要看Jazz和Percussion, 这样比较热闹。 后来孩子主动要求去音乐会， 慢慢
看钢琴，笛子，大中小提琴。 最好玩的是管风琴，很震撼。
看完后， 顺便去地下室的琴房找个钢琴来玩。 事先准备好一点他会唱的儿歌简谱,
Mary Had a Little Lamb一类的，让他按着敲。 我5音不全，也只能这个水准。快回家
的时候随便他乱弹一气。
也去过大音乐厅的chamber orchestra， 太多人，太正式， 孩子反而不是很在意听音
乐，总是注意其它人在干嘛。 小剧场干扰少，可以认真听好长一段时间。

could explain your 95% solid hitting. do you rehearse some practice swing
before each shot?

95% solid shot was just .. my guess. it was from...
95 good/solid hit in my mind / 100 balls I totally hit. = 95%
I barely do the practice swing nowadays in the driving range which is really
bad.
the good practice habit is supposed to be "rehearse every shot before you
hit a real shot, just image you are on the tee-box".
Unfortunately, I don't do practice on-and-off course. No rehearsal on course
is the worst. I just.. don't have the right attitude for months.
