他们的联系方式之前是不是还应该和人家再确认一次？（几个月之前之所以问过，是因

最近急于找工作，看到有recruiter联系我就急忙把references的信息和自己的SSN/
date of birth 给人家了。幸好今天和我的一个reference打电话，人家告诉我千万别
这么干，原因如下：
1，Recruiter不负责，有事没事给推荐人打电话，打的推荐人都烦了，下次人家就不愿
当你的推荐人了。
2，对方拿到你的ssn和DOB之后就可以查到你的信息，也许信用卡号也暴露了。。。。
。落入坏人之手就悲剧了
也不要急着和别人签推荐合同，一旦签了之后就只有这个recruiter 可以递简历了，万
一他不负责就没办法了，如果你再要另外一个recruiter帮你递，你就会被公司block，
那你的简历就永远递不进去了！
我被告之，一般的流程是，recruiter看了你的简历，与对方公司联系后谈的不错才会
把你的简历递上去，reference，ssn， DOB一般都是面试后准备给offer了，才需要。
所以不要急着把这些重要信息给别人。祝大家都能好好保护自己的资源。

不止这个，里头还有其他的风险比如被refer的人操作不当、amex那里漏掉等等，再者
拿到的是不好transfer的点数而不是cash，而被refer的人是完全无本的。
所以我都不明白为嘛版上那么多深度”跳水“的，我脚得这事应该是refer的人拿5k
pts价值的一半偏多点才fair。 |

%左右的学校明确说不需要另外寄reference letters，如果觉得需要他们会直接和
references联系；另外10%的学校明确说得马上寄，不管是邮件还是email，不收到不处
理；但是绝大多数学校（剩下的80%）要求的申请材料中只是要“names and complete
contact information of at least three references”，也不说推荐信到底是要申请
人安排马上送呢（通过什么途径也没说）还是要等search committee的反馈再说。不管
是网页的申请还是email送的申请，我就把推荐人信息列在申请材料的单独一页里，同
时尽量问了我这个疑问，不过至今也没收到任何回复。这种情况大家怎么处理的？
我的理解是：这些学校的search committee会根据提交的材料筛选，对于他们感兴趣的
申请人才会再联系要求推荐信。但同时又担心现在不寄推荐信他们不处理了。我完全是
新手，请问这样的情况下默认的做法应该是怎样的？ |

曾经spg rate才1.8，不过经常变，最近才有2.1以上，你想一直卖2.2是不可能的，而
且spg的点要量大好卖，5k太少了。。。不过话说回来，spg自用的价值可以近4.0
