I was very excited when China first announced the Shanghai to Beijing high-
speed line; It seemed like a great and reliable way to travel between the
two cities without having to go through all the hassles at the airport.
But after the line was launched and its speed lowered for safety reasons, I
realized that flying was still cheaper, quicker, and safer. I see why the
government needs to massively subsidize their high-speed system now.

This must came from what you can call mentally retarded policy makers. Of
course, the policy makers could be part of this minority group, in which
case, it's a sickening case of discrimination.
In China, there should never, ever be a policy based on ethnic difference
because there hasn't been any systematic discriminatory policies that needed

She is too careless even for a technician. Surprisingly the one who dropped
this glassware did not clean it up immediately and notify all fellow
workers about it. Even more surprisingly nobody actually reported this
accident to their safety committee. This lab should be fined and rectified.

The students were detained by Customs and Border Protection officials "over
the last week," the university said in a statement Friday. The students were
"denied admission to the U.S. to continue their studies" and were sent back
to China, ASU said.
