我儿13岁，去年感冒查血偶然发现血小板高，正常值为100-300，他为1300，我们马上在烟台住院
检查，做了几十项检查，包括融合基因RT-PCR、抗人球蛋白、染色体等都没发现明显异常，后初
步定义为原发性血小板增高症（即不明原因引起的症病都为原发性），国内目前没有针对性的药
物，只能用羟基脲（Hydroxycarbamide Tablets）和干扰素(Recombinant H uman Interferon a
Ib Injection)，这两种药都是靠这两种药的副作用（即为能引起血小板下降）进行治疗,。去年
年底和今年初，我又去北京天津等各大医院作了相应检查，还是未检查出发病原因，天津一大夫

短期回北京。因为又有人邀请回去工作，自己因为父母的原因也在考虑，所以比以前更
“认真”地考查了一下。时间很多，其实只是管中窥豹。
1)食。一般的居民区超市，食品大约是美国的1/3(主食、低质量水果、饮料)到4/3(高
级水果)，这是我粗略的估计，因为我对美国超市价格其实不太注意。饭馆的花销大概
是美国的1/2。综合来看，吃上的花销应该是美国的1/2左右。
2)衣。很便宜的有，大概是美国的1/3到1/2。但是如果想看不上去不老土，最好买跟美
国价格仿佛的衣物。如果去酒吧之类的地方，还是最好买点品牌的潮货，那个价格就没
谱了。综合来看，对我而言，衣服的花销应该是和美国差不多。
3)行。北京的公交车跟以前比不算很挤，但是还是不舒服，冬冷夏闷。地铁不错，就是
线路少，但是在修。出租车非常便宜，但是一旦有点雨、上下班高峰，也就是你想打车

在意影响因子，不干生物却甚于生物。在流体力学之外，他显然也打起了化学＋纳米＋
材料的主意，他喜欢被attention，追流行。有几篇文章nanoparticle, nanorod 是关
键词。这篇PRL的文章是他独立之后的有限的亮点文章，但却走的是nanopore（这里是
micron size)的路线，主要是实验数据总结，强的理论基础看不出来。可以预见，这哥
们儿去了南方科技大，一定会与那里的纳米灌水风气相结合，搞出很多他想要的高点数
文章来。

十多年前...。毕竟都是学生物， 玩DNA出身的。 当时理解局限于DNA and protein 本
身， 基本上属于 too simple, too naive.

我们搞科研的， 做实验前一般先要做个假设。 在大多数情况下， 我们尽量思考再三
， 提出自以为是无懈可击的假设。 但实验结果怎么样？ 在大多数情况下， 由于某种
意向不到原因， 证明原先的假设是错的。 然后将错就错， 按照新的数据， 重新作出
新的假设。 或许新的假设还有出入， 再根据更新的数据， 作出更新的假设。 如此反

molecular and biological techniques including cloning, DNA recombination,
Western analysis, immunoprecipitation, immunostaining, PCR, transfection and

美国这个地方吧，什么都好，就是转基因食品太多！
生活在美国，如果你不想吃转基因食品，那也不是不可能，但还是有相当难度的。我本
人不是研究转基因的专家，但对转基因却非常关心。美国超市里有转基因食品上市了，
方舟子和崔永元又打起来了，这样的时候，我都要跑去看看热闹。美国政府在2015年初
批准转基因苹果（北极苹果）在美国上市之后，我过段时间就去超市转一圈，很想亲眼
看看转基因苹果是什么样子，但到目前我还没有见过转基因苹果，更没有吃过转基因苹
果。我等得都有点急了。现在中国国内有句讽刺人的话：你就是吃转基因的命，操转基
因的心！我还真是这样的人。
转基因食品是否安全？对这个问题，挺转派（主要是农业生物公司和很多学生物的人）
和反转派（主要是有机农业及部分追随者）争得不可开交。我个人认为，目前市场上的
