我现在是以opt工作，现在的公司为我申请了h1b，在10月中旬的receipt。
请问这个情况下在现在的公司拿到h1b再transfer到新公司来得及吗？
我希望能给现在的公司2周的notice，因为老板们待我不错。
如果不行的话，以opt去新公司工作，withdraw现在的h1b申请，明年四月在新公司申请
h1b可行吗？我的opt到明年6月到期。

而当时我也觉得老教练褒奖我Noles了，我们

所以十一月就订好机票了。

Date是3月15号，NE的，一直没消息，5月18号的时候上网查USCIS的Processing已经到3月
29号了，就又等了十来天。昨天突然收到要去的大学的一封email，说我没交Sevis Fee（
$100），又查他们网页发现这个fee的Receipt被要求和application materials一起寄给
移民局的，这才觉得会不会是因为这个出了问题。昨天下午赶快上网付了这个fee，然后
打电话给大学，大学的人说我这种情况最好等接到移民局要求补充材料的通知后再把Rece
ipt寄给他们，这样不容易丢，而且反而处理得更快（原因我没听懂，有人知道吗？）。
我问他们是怎么发现我漏交钱的，是不是接到移民局通知了，她说不知道。
然后今天不放心就给移民局打了个电话，小姐说她们根本没要求申请人付$195以外的任何
fee，说是不是大学搞错了。我请她看了一下系统里我的状态，她说正在处理中， |

一个“长得非常像北京人在纽约里的David的白人，比david还要白净”——引用妈妈的

签证官的问题非常签单，我们准备的基本都没问到：
问爸爸：你是在市政府还是在区政府？
回答：省。。。（其实爸爸是在省委工作，不是政府，他怕有麻烦，故意没纠正签证官
）。我也是一个作家。
你写过什么作品？（签证官很有兴趣的）
回答：我刚刚完成一部历史小说，这里是出版合同，你要看吗？
签证官：不用。
你女儿是博士后？
回答：是的，她在读博士后
你女儿是博士后？（签证官又问了一遍同样的问题）
回答：是的，她在读博士后
问妈妈：你是什么单位的？
回答：我在XXX工作

然后就告诉他们通过了。他们准备的几个册子的材料还有照片签证官一眼都没有看！妈
妈为此很是遗憾，但是是快乐的遗憾，呵呵。另外据他们说签证的中文说得非常的标准
，也非常的清楚，看来是完全不用担心听不懂签证官说话的！
最后补充一下我们的背景：我是去年开始OPT，现在作博后，身份五月份要过期，单位
申请的H1b还没有收到rece |

我三月份把我的资料递给公司律师，不知道他们拖拖拉拉干什么，直到五月底才递到
USCIS. 收到Notice of Receipt后就一下就没了音信。我的H1 – B 和驾照都是今年8/
1 到期，到期之前我就问律师要是H1 – B到期还没拿到Approval Notice怎么办。律师
说还可以继续工作up to 240 days unless USCIS makes decision otherwise. 于是我
就拿着Notice of Receipt 去了几个办驾照的地点，他们说法都不一致。一会儿说可以
给240 天，但是要等系统更新下一个Expiration Date 才能办。 一会儿又说，根本不
能办，必须要有Approval Notice。总之就是不能办。昨天又问了律师，他们说唯一的
办法是把Case update to premium processing，兴许会加快Process的速度。 可是又
要等HR批准，因为又有大概＄1，100 的额外费用。等了一个星期，HR同意给钱UPDATE。
8月16号寄去申请，8月18号从USCIS的网站得到RECE |
