c2用于 handle write的操作
c2有两个值0, 1
c2 = 0表示当前没有 thread 要 write
c2 = 1表示当前有 thread 想 要 write，那么这个时候想要读的thread必须 wait
当c1变成0后，也就是所有的 read threads release了这个 lock以后，那个设置 c2
为 1的 write线程就可以write了，write 完了以后就把 c2设置为0 |

很不同的而已。
看你后边说娃不会专心听你读，其实很正常。这么点的小人就几分钟的attention span
就不错了。给小娃讲书要be creative，总结一下就是要声情并茂，又蹦又跳。可以选
那种sing-along的书，或者nursery rythm适当加上一些动作。也不用非得一个固定时
间讲，抽个空两分钟，三分钟就念一次。慢慢娃就坐的住了。 |

benchmark是67分，他几乎高了一倍。Spring是160分，刚好是benmark的成绩。
我们工作比较忙，没有怎么管他。Fall的时候和老师meet，听到reading成绩还比较吃
惊。但现在上了一年了，反倒和benmark的成绩一样应该就是刚合格吧。考虑这孩子这
学期学校里behavior大起大落，算比较调皮的，是不是有什么问题呢。
我反思自己根本没有怎么管，rading都是孩子自己学的。另外小家伙今年打game着迷。 |

主要的问题是大人照着书讲两次，他就对着图背下来了，压根不去看text。
买了Dr.Seuss 的书，小朋友也靠背的。虽然他也自己看书，其实是看图然后对照他背
下来的，还是can not read。
教他认书上的单词，人家根本没啥兴趣，反正story都背下了。

My child learned all new words through reading and he can explain the
meaning of a new word from the context. As to the main idea of a passage or
a story, a child will get it eventually after reading the same stuffs
several times. That's one of the reasons why I recommend buying books
instead of borrowing books: easy to reinforce prior knowledge.

因为难度高的 reading，其实是要在大脑里 re-create 时空事件关系等等。
这种 re-create，其实就是创造力的基本。而且这个 re-create 是高级的
long term memory 的很重要的一环，我觉得就是所谓的 efficient encoding。
并且因为每个人的个体差异，每个人 re-create 的都不完全一样，encoding
都有各自的差别。
不过 standardized test 不用这个能力一样可以去考，只要看完问题回去找
得快就成，考完忘掉啥事没有。而且这样考得更好，因为 re-create 不仅花
掉一些时间，而且现代医学发现还跟做梦有关，也就是要到第二天大脑才 process/
encoding 告一段落，目的是为更长久将来更迅速 recall 的 long term memory
。。。您说 standardized test 怎么考这个 long term memory？

的， 勤能补拙型。且劳民伤财, 100多元一个月，每周跑两次，大多数家庭都放弃了。
beestar每学期reading只是20美元，内容非常讨孩子喜欢，加上免费的数学，很盛行。
edhelper是题库，很少人谈论，没兴趣。

先说一下上面那个妈妈对我引的第二篇文章的理解，我觉得和作者的意图正是反了。作
者所说的是小学的老师过于形而上学的机械强调97%的accuracy, 不让孩子走向更深内
容的阅读。就像在浅水区游惯的人，上了中学后一下子被抛到深水区，孩子不能够习惯
在high complexity text中maneuver, 结果丧失对阅读以及吸取文字携载的内容的兴趣
。就好象读Shakespear的Romeo and Juliet, 你不需要对文字97%的掌握就可以去了解
和欣赏这个作品。这个是让我释然的一个原因，因为娃读书的范围很广，如果是她感兴
趣的topic, 她会毫无畏惧地去读，然后会问很relevant的问题，和我share她的想法和
学到的东西。这包括她竟会去读Time magazine 里一篇关于preemies的文章，以及她可
以在读了magic tree house day of the dragon king 后可以在秦始皇陵和埃及faroh
的pyramid之间 make connection.

tag junior书就是小的，board book 适合4岁以下孩子。
tag的书 是大本的，软的。适合4岁以上。
实际上，我儿子从两岁多开始购入这套书，基本上不分大的小的，他都看。
