my mind for the first half an hour or so once I begin to read. Then I will
calm down. But after about 15 min reading, I can't concentrate on my reading
at all but think about various other things, or do other things, such as
eating snacks, watching TV...

),我家孩子长进40分,比别的kids进步慢得多。
其实我担心的是他在学校的behavior,是不是不听讲,根本不学。
Fall assessment出来的时候,老师和我们专门指reading,说surprise。因为孩子才回
美国一年,我们觉得他肯定要不及格了,没想到比benchmark高这么多。而且我们根本
没有教,就在pre-school混的。

无法合格得毕业。 而且美国的推妈太少了。 所以整个社会就一个劲得鼓励reading.
其实reading 不是越多越好, 读了没用的书就是浪费时间, 读了不好的书
(比如年纪很小的时候就读有性行为细节描写的, 暴力的。。.),那就是

每天单程就得一个多小时,这还是在道路不怎么堵塞的情况下。
222在Reading和Allentown之间有一段很恶心的路,限速35mph,而且每
个方向只有一条道,无法超车。
Wyomissing和Sinking Spring好像不错,不过比不上NYC的繁华。
Reading就是乡下小地方,平平淡淡的。
去费城一个多小时,去DE一个多小时,去马里兰两个多小时,去NYC两个多小时。 |
