一、历史 新加坡古称淡马锡，公元8世纪建国，属印尼室利佛逝王朝。公元18世纪至19
世纪初为马来亚柔佛王国的一部分。1819年，英国人史丹福·莱佛士抵新，与柔佛苏丹
订约设立贸易站。1824年沦为英国殖民地，成为英在远东的转口贸易商埠和在东南亚的
主要军事基地。1942年被日军占领，1945年日本投降后，英国恢复其殖民统治，次年划
为直属殖民地。1946年英国将其划为直辖殖民地。1959年6月新加坡实行内部自治，成
为自治邦，英国保留国防、外交、修改宪法、颁布“紧急法令”等权力。1963年9月16
日并入马来西亚。1965年8月9日脱离马来西亚，成立新加坡共和国。同年9月成为联合
国成员国，10月加入英联邦。
关于国名的由来，据马来史籍记载，公元1150年左右，苏门答腊的室利佛逝王国王子乘
船到达此岛，看见一头黑兽，当地人告知为狮子，此地遂 称“狮城”。“新加坡”是

的车，加上讲座就是4个小时，而且去了没准还有附加条件什么的，想一想好像又不那
么值得去了。
这白女说你是明天还是后天来呢，我说我得想想，有点远。她说一个多小时就到了啊。
我说我还得回来呢，就算不堵车也要开两个半小时。你不知道我有多讨厌开车。然后白

The Beaumont-Cherry Valley Rotary Club will hold its annual Cherries Jubilee
on Thursday, May 27th, at 6pm at the Albert Chatigny Community Center at
the corner of Oak Valley Pkwy. and Cherry Ave. Attendees can enjoy all kinds
of cherry desserts (all you can eat!) and take part in a huge raffle for
gift baskets provided by over 40 businesses in the Beaumont area. Entrance
fee is $5 per person and raffle tickets are $1 each. All profits go towards
scholarships for seni |

Start at 1pm, will give out free raffle ticket to win many Yonex stuff.
2pm - 3pm, free youth training.
3pm - 4pm, free playing and free snacks.
4pm - raffle time
then free playing for the rest of the day! Yeah!!! |
