AMD计划本月19日发布北方群岛Radeon HD 6000系列显卡的最后三款中低端型号，然后
五月份就会开始下一代南方群岛Radeon HD 7000系列的大规模量产。
Radeon HD 6670/6570/6450年初已经推出OEM版本，此番将正式转入零售市场，大体规
格不变，但是显存将从DDR3全面改成GDDR5，以便更好地吸引消费者，占领更大低价市
场。
Radeon HD 7000系列的具体消息还不多，但是AMD已经声明会在六月份的AMD Fusion开
发者峰会(AFDS)上第一次公开披露一些细节资料。综合已有消息，Radeon HD 7000将采
用台积电28nm新工艺制造，并在Cayman Radeon HD 6900系列的基础上继续发展VLIW4
4D式流处理器架构。按照惯例，新工艺总能大幅缩小面积、降低功耗，因此AMD一方面
可以把GPU芯片做得更小，另一方面可以塞入更多执行单元和晶体管，从而提高单位成
本、单位功耗的性能。

but the coupon reached it's max before I pulled the trigger. This config is
almost as good. Same processor, ram and video card. Slightly smaller HD and
no blue ray. But is $20 cheaper. I don't need the blue ray, so this is
better for me. And it actually has a 2-year service plan as opposed to 1.
