then change winabc.ime to winZM.ime, add ZM at reginal options, done
Don't forget to set Chinese (PRC) as default
Mine works well for me...hoho
My win2k now is the same as, even better than pwin98 in Chinese support

发帖数: 539 | 2 我不知道我的是不是w2kMUI, 反正我把pwin98中间的winabc.* (一共三个文件)
全部拷到winnt\system32下面，只把winabc.ime改成winzm.ime(原来的
winzm.*都改了名字备份起来了), 其他的两个文件名字不变。然后添加上
ZhengMa，就出现智能ABC输入法了，我现在就是用这个输入法，很爽很爽。
win2k完全可以替代pwin98了，哈哈 |

such a software which can load japanese font under the ms-dos way of
the pwin98.
is there such a software under ewin98/nt?

格式化为 WIN95 FAT32，分两个区; 第二个分成了4个DOS FAT16的分区
并且第四个分区为1.8g,空，什么都没有。
使用PWin98。现在想安装一个Red Hat 6 的linux系统，用CD-ROM引导
成功，在进入到Disk Durid的时候，显示的分区情况却有些奇怪：最后的
一个DOS分区居然只有32M的free空间？ 在增加了一个Linux分区后（100M）
便告只空间不够。 请问各位大虾是不是必须先删除最后一个DOS分区后才可
里建立Linux分区？？另外，删除一个DOS分区对其他分区会有影响吗？？
后来在进行ext2f的时候，死机，不知道是不是上述原因？建立linux分区后
在win98中能够访问到吗？ linux可以访问到原来的资源吗？？
望高人指路，不胜感激。。。

首先是 Netscape 被删,
ultraedit 变成 许多文件夹, 怪麽怪样的, 无法删除.
一看大小, 410G, 还有其他应用软件也被改, 小小的
winzip变成 2TG 全是鬼文件夹, 日期也很怪, e.g.44-77-88
norton can't kill them, 吓得我赶紧关机.
是什么最新的, 怎么杀呀? 万分感谢!!!! |

启动imageready[There is a button at buttom of the tools, "Jump to
imageready"]. (not very useful to me)
从功能上说，5.5 和5.0没有怎么明显改变，tools 上也没有增加， 处理速度也
没有显著区别（on my pIII500), 倒是稳定性比5.0差了，有时候打开一幅大图
片就死翘翘了(尽管我把scratch disk调到了2G) ,也许跟我的pwin98兼容不好？
If you are using ewin98, it may be stable.
中文输入倒没问题，不过如果Cmap没弄对，会看不到中文字体名，不过你可以用
那个中文字体patch文件ps5chs.exe来运行一把就可以看到中文字体名称了。
Anyway, you can try it. I keep both of the 5.5 and 5.0 on my computer.

跟版本有关，但是你还是可以找到所有的邮件。最简单的办法是在你的
目录中新建一个独一无二的文件夹。然后用Windows的查找功能来搜索，
你就可以找到你的邮件所在了。只要你把整个目录树备份了，你的邮件
就不会丢了。
其实你有两三样东西应该保存：除了邮件还有你的通信录，另外就是
你的邮件规则。不过对于最后一样东西我还不是很清楚应该如何保存。 |

发帖数: 1 | 9 用 Regedit 查找 键 “Store Root”，键的值就是邮件目录，
拷贝该目录下的所有文件就可以了。重装系统后copy回去这些
文件到新的系统的“Store Root”所指的目录就可以了，不过
要改成中文的文件名，找个中文系统对应一下就行了。 |

names or
chinese folder names. i have tried them when in China, even
in Pwin98, and it fails to read from the standard cd-rom.
anyway, you can keep your files containing chinese
characters
but not having a chinese name. |

Last year it troubled me a lot, every 2 hrs I have to restart win98 again.
I observed it for a quite long time, and reinstall system at least 20 times
druing that period.
From my point of view, the cause maybe one of the following:
1. language version conflict. Don't install english office in Pwin98 or vice
versa. this is the cause of my system resource lack, after I install
english office 2000 in my chinese version win98. Now I am using
chinese versi |

里面讲的好像是Win95，winNT和linux，不过2000和NT一样。
我认为这种方法是最好的，用2000的OS Loader来管理。 |

I first boot with win98 floppy, and fdisk delete all
partitions, and create a new primary partition for 1.2G.
Leave the rest of the hard drive untouched. Then reboot and
format the C: (1.2G). Installed win98 with no problem.
Then I boot to win98 floppy again, fdisk and partitioned two
new partitions. Then I boot to linux floppy and install
linux from CDrom, partitioned 2.3G under linux fdisk, and
installed redhat6.0 with no problem.
