Then, what is the proper purpose of a government?
Or do we really need a government if we decide there's no purpose of a
government?
Assume you are a powerful person, and you are to design the US society
structure, what do you think the government should look like? What is the
purpose? Or do we need it at all?
Without the answer to this question, all of our debate here is just "talking
to yourself".

What is the purpose of the government?
If you define the government's purpose is to promote "Common Good", then we
need to define two things:
1. Define "Common Good".
2. Does this mean the government can do ANYthing , I mean ANYthing, to
promote common good?
I guess most likely, we have a big difference on the definitions of "common
good", thus we have a different expectations from the government. |

卖东西要快递Fedex到加拿大，在shipment purpose里面有很多选择，比如sold(
commercial), sample, gift, etc. 我觉得我应该是sold，然后运费是40多。如果我选
择gift的话
，运费就是20了。差了一半。。
我记得我以前在ebay买中国过来的小电子产品上面都有写gift，他们可能是面临我同样
的选择吧。
请问这种情况我用gift会怎么样？谢谢 |

我们一下可以找个什么学习班，志愿者，什么的？
好像他们的学校还挺严，以前出去旅游申请过一两次，都没通过，可是朋友孩子去亚特

costco 的 all purpose 面粉可以做出很好的馒头。
我通常是四杯面粉，一杯半水，加两茶勺Fleischmann's activiDry Yeast（一般超市
都能买到）再加同样量的白糖，帮助发酵。
我用面包机发面，如果没有，手工发面的话，要把面团揉到三光（盆光，手光，面光，
不过手工的话，可能水要略减少一些，但3份面1份水是起码的标准， 以这个比例和面做
饺子也很好）
面发酵到原来的两倍大后，取出，揉面，这次要多揉，我因用面包机， 水多，面很软
，因此这次会掺大约一杯的面粉。如果你用手的话，自己量力，以不粘手，面板为标准
，不要掺太多的粉。这次揉面的目的是把发酵面团里的气泡都揉掉。然后整形。
做好的馒头， 放在铺有面粉的板上，静置半小时，让馒头二次发酵。
烧水，温水时，小心将馒头移至蒸锅内。 拿馒头的时候要小心，不要碰破，不要让发
酵好的气泡破裂。 蒸锅上汽后八到十二分钟，熄火，停两三分钟后开盖。取出。
小贴士（蒸馒头时，在蒸锅的水里放一、两勺白醋，一防水垢，二馒头出来雪白）
