我们昨天请人来把家里的空调管道(air duct),furnace,condensor 的里外coil,空调本
身以及烘干机的管道(dryer vent),真正干活有接近4小时时间,收了我们$490.我打电话
询价的时候,他们报的是$415,其中包括$250/unit清理费用+$15/vent(风口),我家有11
个风口,包括回风口,总共就$415.我们的房子比较小,总共有1400SF,一层的 RANCH
HOUSE,没有地下室,有crowl space,但整个空调都在房后露天的,所以他们操作起来还挺
方便的.
当他们来了之后,我们发现他们做的很仔细,就顺便问了问他们关于清理dryer vent的价

I usually use a very very thin and long glass needle (I found it from a
neuron lab, but I don't know the name) to insert in the gradient to collect
fractions from bottom . However, using a thin tubing should also be fine.
Just need to handle with care.

If yes, i think it's possible.
1) Puncture a small hole in the lighter fuel container (with your hand?),
make sure the rate of flowout is constant (it should be if the hole is small)
2) Burn rope in both ends and the middle
3) when one part of rope burnt all up, burn the another part of rope in the
middle.
4) Repeat 3) if necessary , while keeping track of how many drops of fuel is

mandatory. If you had symptoms at that time and he still proceeded with

事情的起因是我由于爸爸妈妈离开美国和公公婆婆来美国带孩子之间有几天的gap，我
在家带孩子同时晚上加班公司的事，太累了，加上压力大，右半边脸面瘫了。然后我就
在Zocdoc.com上想找个家庭医生看下，找了一下，有个印度医生当天就有时间，我就约
了（以前用过一次这个印度家庭医生，看起来还行，人挺nice）。印度医生看了下，诊
断为Bell's Palsy,也就是中国的面瘫，给开了类固醇和anti virus的药，然后保险起
见给开了MRI，当天就做了MRI，在Bellevue Medical Imaging Center。做MRI的时候，

最开始用的题目叫【实况，图】偷窥另类的XOXO运动。偷窥，是因为要歪着脖子从一个
窄缝里看。另类，是因为不是人类，是蜘蛛。
试图用图片记载cellar spider蜘蛛求爱、前戏、XOXO，怀孕生子的全过程，又是还会
穿插家里家外看到的一些别的蜘蛛（甚至别的小动物）的照片。还有几张网上找来的
蜘蛛照片。
从8/25/12开始，每天更新照片，到9/24/12结束，历时30天。图省事的话看本楼就行。
有空闲可逐层爬楼，里面还有好多亮点。

家里比较乱，成了蜘蛛的乐园。几个常驻蜘蛛我也了然于胸。今天突然发现一个角落里
位于两个纸箱空隙间的母蜘蛛有客，不用想，肯定是有人上门求爱了。
现在还是前戏阶段，雄蜘蛛现在还在试探阶段，一靠近就被母的给赶跑了。公蜘蛛也算
知趣，非常小心的靠近，运气不好就有可能被吃掉。

还发出感慨：美国的苍耳太厉害了！后来我见到了苍耳，才知道扎我的不是苍耳。经过
一番观察比较，才得知扎我的其实是两种完全不同的植物，下面介绍一下。
美国苍耳(cocklebur)
这次我只见到两株苍耳，都是在离水源近的地方，感觉苍耳不是真正的沙漠植物。苍耳
的种类大概很多，我只见过两种，即美国这儿的和我家乡的。相比较，美国苍耳要大一
些，果实上的刺密集又整齐，粘着力可能还行，穿刺力不够，用手轻捏没什么感觉，没
啥杀伤力。下面的照片都是网上找来的。
蒺藜草(sandbur)
这是我新认识的物种，查了一下，是从欧亚大陆传过来的，是一种中药。蒺藜草跟毛毛
草是一个科，外观非常像。其种子蒺藜的杀伤力非常强大，把我搞惨了。走着走着腿上
就有刺痛，低头一看裤子上已经粘满了蒺藜，有时衣袖也会粘上。秋天草叶和蒺藜穗都
是浅黄色，淌草时根本分辨不出。用手摘除蒺藜时触肤即入，穿透力非常强，疼痛难忍
，往外拔时疼痛更甚，我一直怀疑刺上有毒，查了之后才知道刺上有肉眼难见的倒钩。
